Replace Worn Pads Before Braking Feels Uncertain

When your trailer's brake pads are worn, stopping can start to feel less predictable. These ceramic pads give your hydraulic disc brake setup a fresh contact surface for slowing or stopping your trailer's wheels, with consistent braking performance for 3,500-lb to 6,000-lb axle applications.

Less Dust and Noise After the Repair

Brake pad replacement should not leave you with extra mess or squeal. The ceramic material withstands high temperatures, the low-dust design produces less dust than NAO or semi-metallic pads, and chamfered edges help prevent brake squeal. Video Transcript for Review of Lippert Trailer Brake Pads - LC47RP

Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at some Lippert ceramic disc brake pads for 3,500 pound to 6,000 pound axle rating. So folks, you need to replace warm pads before your braking feels uncertain. So when those trailer pads are worn, you're going to start to feel less predictable as far as stopping. These ceramic pads give those hydraulic disc brake setups a fresh contact surface, and that's going to help slow and stop your trailer wheels quicker, more efficient, and safer. Now, because of their makeup here, you're going to get less dust and less noise after you put these on.

So this ceramic material withstands higher temperatures. It's a low dust design. It's going to produce less dust than NAO or semi-metallic pads do. And these have these chamfered edges you can see here. So that's also going to help prevent that brake squeal that you're used to hearing.

And then of course they all have the clips and everything needed to retain them inside of the caliper. So again, you're going to have enough here to do two compatible lippert or select DeeMaxx trailer disc brake calipers, and you will get everything here that you see. One set, two sets. And that's going to wrap up our look together, folks. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
