If you’re ready to move on from worn or dragging drum brakes, this DeeMaxx 13" disc brake kit gives you a big boost in performance. The 1-piece hub-and-rotor assembly eliminates uneven wear and offers consistent, powerful braking. Ceramic pads and stainless steel pistons deliver fast response and smooth stops that feel steady and controlled. Each assembly is preloaded with bearings, races, seals, grease caps, wheel bolts, and lug nuts for one axle rated at 8,000 lbs.

Corrosion can ruin ordinary brakes fast, especially in saltwater or snowy conditions. The Maxx coating on these hub-rotors and brackets is rated for over 1,000 hours of salt spray—far beyond zinc or Dacromet finishes. Stainless steel calipers and hardware resist rust even after repeated launches or road salt exposure. Drainage holes in the hat section let water escape easily, cutting down on trapped moisture and internal corrosion.

Heavy loads and long downhill grades can cook standard brakes. DeeMaxx vented rotors move air through the core to shed heat faster, keeping temperatures down and braking consistent. The added drainage holes boost airflow even more while shedding water and debris. Cooler operation means less brake fade and longer pad life mile after mile.
You don’t need to guess your way through setup or upkeep with this kit. The calipers have laser-etched bleeding instructions right on the back, so you always know what to do when it’s time for maintenance. With fewer moving parts than drums—no springs or cables—these disc brakes require minimal upkeep. Bearings (25580 inner and 02475 outer), races, grease seals, caps, bolts, and stainless lug nuts are included so you can bolt everything together efficiently.

Every part of this kit is engineered for heavy-duty use with an axle capacity of 8,000 lbs, #42 spindle compatibility, and an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern using 5/8" wheel bolts. It’s made from automotive-grade materials that meet the standards of the SAE J2681 brake test for friction performance. Backed by a 7-year warranty, these brakes deliver dependable stopping power and lasting durability in tough environments.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're take a look at the D-Max 13 inch hub and rotor assembly kit with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern, 5/8 inch wheel studs for 8,000 pound axles. And this has a max coating and the calipers have a stainless steel finish. Now this kit here will let you upgrade your trailer from drum to disc brakes for superior performance and it will include all these parts I have laid out here on the table. We're gonna go through all the parts and we'll start with the hub and rotor assemblies, this comes with two max coated cast iron hub and rotor assemblies. And the bearing races are pre-installed in them.
Comes with the two inner bearings, the two outer bearings, the two grease seals. Over here we got the two easy lube grease caps and you'll see the lug nuts here. It's a total of 16 5/8 inch by 18 size lug nuts. And then we mention the calipers. They're stainless steel calipers.
They do have the brake pads installed in them and the installation bolts included. And over here we have the caliper mounting brackets, which are max coated and there's two of those. Now it will require a hydraulic brake actuator that's rated at 1500 PSI or above and brake lines to activate your brakes. Those items we do sell separate on our website. Now the hub and rotors right here, these are one piece hub and rotor to reduce this chance of uneven rotor wear.
They are a vented design. If you see right here, the vent that goes all the way around and that's to dissipate heat faster to prevent premature brake pad wear. Also on the hat section of this hub and rotor assembly, you'll see these drainage holes all around here. This allows the water to drain easily to further minimize any corrosion. Now this kit here is excellent for occasional use in salt water.
Our areas with a lot of snow, slush, or road salt. We mentioned the corrosion resistant max coat finish that's on the hub and rotors. And the brackets has a salt spray rating of over a thousand hours. And of course the stainless steel calipers are rust proof. Now this will offer dramatically shorter stopping distances and smooth control braking. I did want to show you in the calipers, lemme just flip this one up and you'll be able to see it includes the brake pads. They are ceramic brake pads to increase the stopping power and the piston that activates those brake pads. It is a two and a quarter inch diameter stainless steel piston, which will provide fast responsive braking. Now it does require minimal maintenance, saving you time and money, and even one of the new features on this is if you look on the outside of the caliper itself, they put laser etched instructions on the caliper to take the guesswork out of installing the calipers and bleeding the brakes. Now this is designed to fit the Alco 8,000 pound axles with the number 42 spindle. The wheel size that'll fit on these is 16 inches and larger. We mentioned the bolt pattern, eight on six and a half inches, wheel stud diameter is 5/8 of an inch. Rotor diameter itself is 13 inches. And on the caliper brackets, if you notice the four holes, it is designed to work on a four bolt brake flange configuration that's on your axle. But that should do it for a look at the D-Max 13 inch hub and rotor assembly kit. The eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern, 5/8 inch diameter studs for 8,000 pound axles.
