Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this DeeMaxx 8K disc brake kit 13-inch hub rotor. Now this is a 13 1/8 inch in diameter rotor. It is designed for 8K oil bath axles with 5/8 inch studs. This is going to work with most disc brake calipers and mounting brackets. So again, this is gonna be ideal for your 8K marine, ag, or winter-use trailer axles.
And trying to hold this up at the same time. Let me see here, my block can hold this up real quick. Let me just go ahead and confirm that measurement with you. So looking at the diameter, I hope you can see, 13 1/8 inches, just to confirm that with you. Now this does have a Maxx coating that's going to resist rust.
It's got 1,000 plus hour salt spray rating for harsh environments. Our bolt pattern is 8-on-6 1/2 inches, and that wheel stud size diameter is 5/8 inch. Now this does not include bearings, but I do wanna put that information there on the screen for you. So the bearings will be sold separately, but you do see the inner and the outer bearings that are gonna be compatible with this. The races are included.
They're already pressed in. And you can see the race numbers that this is using. The oil seal will be sold separately. And I'm including the number for that oil seal, so you can pick that up separately as well. So this is a one-piece vented hub rotor.
It's going to enhance cooling and help prevent the brake fade. And you can see the vents there. The threaded hub ends are going to accept a screw-on oil caps for secure oil bath setups. The drainage holes are included that you can see right here. So that's gonna move water out to protect the and extend the component life. Best upgrade to our 5th wheel. I will do this to every trailer I ever own. The install was straight forward if you have some mechanical knowledge and experience.
The first order I made was incorrect due to my mistake, but Amy took care of it had the correct items sent out with the wrong items returned. Everything was very smooth.
Just traveled 800 miles after installing the disc brakes. Stopping distance is half of what it was. So pleased!

We had a rough start getting the right brakes for our Brinkley Z3100. Easy installation, work so much better than stock drums. Some brake pad noise under lite braking.
Really surprised how quickly parts came. One box looked pretty rough, but all parts appear to be there. Will know more after install and put a few miles on the trailer.
Etrailer to the rescue! Extremely high quality direct replacement for DeeMaxx EOH kit DE66AR offered on this site. Our original got damaged after a bearing failure. I actually cary a spare set of bearings which allowed us at a minimum to limp our RV home and avoid an expensive tow. Now I will replace the damaged parts.
