Know your battery's secure and your charge is good before you ever leave the dock. This box keeps everything tight, protected, and easy to check, so you're always ready for a day on the water.
There's nothing casual about storing a battery on a boat. Between vibration, salt spray, and constant motion, even a small flaw in your setup can cost you power - or worse, damage your wiring. This box is vented for safety, shaped to cradle group 24 batteries, and secured with a strap and mounting base that keeps it from shifting when the water gets rough.
Ever tried forcing battery cables through a hole that's too small or at the wrong angle? It's a good way to fray insulation - or your patience. This box gives you 4 oversized cable openings that make routing easier, especially in marine consoles or bulkhead compartments where space is tight.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Attwood PowerGuard vented battery box. Now this box is vented for safety, and it is shaped to cradle your group 24 batteries. This is going to fit your 24/24M and 24F batteries. It's gonna secure with this strap here and mounting base. It's going to keep it from shifting when the water gets rough.
So this is going to work with batteries that have a maximum height of 10 1/8 inches with the terminal. And this box is going to give you four oversize cable openings, One, two, three, four. That's gonna make routing easier, especially in marine consoles or bulkhead compartments where space is tight. That ventilation is going to help safely dissipate any hydrogen gas buildup. And this is a heavy duty plastic.
It's going to resist flex, sun, and salt for long-term use in boats, trailers, and RVs. The length of our strap is going to be about 40 inches long if I haven't mentioned that already. Speaking of measurements, the internal dimensions is going to be about 10 5/8 inches long, seven inches wide. And as I mentioned, this is going to work with those series 24 batteries with a maximum height of 10 1/8 inches with the terminals. And then looking at the exterior dimensions, about end to end right here, 14 inches long, 9 5/8 inches wide and 10 5/8 inches tall.
And so you're going to get the brackets there for the strap to run through to keep this mounted into place along with the hardware. And it's gonna be very easy to strap this back into place. And it does have some grip there or teeth there to firmly securely hold that strap in place. So I'm just gonna run that through so you can see. And then I'm just going to thread that through like that.
And then that's going to be nice and secure. It does come with instructions as well to guide you through the installation process. We do have other sizes available here from Attwood as well. So if this isn't exactly what you're looking for, do be sure to take a look at those other options. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
