Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this DeeZee Specialty Series silver aluminum square truck bed transfer tank. Now this is gonna be a really solid liquid transfer tank designed to safely haul non-flammable liquids, like water or certain chemicals. This is made from bright tread aluminum so it's not going to rust and it's gonna hold up really well over time, even with heavy use. Now I'm gonna go over some measurements here, but if you just want to confirm if this is going to work for your particular vehicle, you can use our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.
Just pop in the year, make and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions that it might have for you. And our fit guide will confirm if this tank will work for you or if we've got something comparable that will work for you. So the measurement is going to be really easy here. I'm just going to give you the measurement here with the width. As you can see, it's 24 inches.
And that's going to be the same all the way around. So, I think it's correct to say that this is gonna be 24 inches square. And you do want to add about three and a half inches to the above height to determine clearance for the vented cap. This is, this has a 55 gallon capacity. So as I mentioned, this tank has a square shape, which is gonna make it easy to fit in the bed of your truck.
And the design is pretty flexible. You can position it wherever you have space. It also has a radius curve construction, which basically means there are fewer stress points. So it's going to last longer and it's gonna be less likely to develop issues over time. Inside it's built with stability baffles that are gonna help keep the liquid from sloshing around too much while you're driving.
And it also includes a drainage plug, as you can see right here. And then you're going to get the cap and coupler to keep everything vented properly. Now you probably can't see it too well, lemme go back out to my wide view here. You can, you have two positions here that you can put the cap on. These are both capped off right now. So whichever spot's gonna work best for you, just take the cap that's in there right now, pop that out, and then you'll just replace it with the vented cap. So, that's gonna be how easy it's going to be to get this set up and set at the orientation that's gonna work best for yous. Installation's gonna be pretty straightforward. It's gonna mount directly to the floor of your truck bed. There are feet here that are included, so you just need to. Like I said, it's gonna be a pretty, a relatively easy install. And it does have this clear finish to it that is going to make it continue to look good and it's gonna hold up really well to the elements that's gonna be constantly exposed to.
