Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Pacbrake Alpha HD air bag suspension kit. It's a double convoluted for your rear axle rated at 5,000 pounds. Now, folks, this is a custom fit application for the 2005 through 2010 Ford F-250 and 350 super duty, two-wheel drive models. And you're gonna get precision brackets included with all the hardware you see before me today to make it a factory direct, bolt-on installation. So air springs, as you probably already know, are not gonna increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity, but they are going to help lift up and support the additional weight.
Now, these are not made for commercial cabin chassis trucks either, so I wanna put that out there. Now, if you're not sure or never heard of Pacbrake, they've been around for years and years, predominantly from the semi-truck kind of industry, so big, big trucks, big heavy-duty, high-quality springs and brackets, that's what you're getting folks. So, you can set the air pressure between 5 to 100 PSI on these double convoluted axle springs here. And as you see, again, you get all the airline, the cutter here for the airline and all the rest of the brackets, the hardware, everything you need for this installation. Now, these airlines are gonna be push fitting, so all you're gonna have to do is just make the cut exactly how the instructions tell you, and then simply just push that airline into the connector to make that connection.
Now, I've kind of got these just, just loosely assembled here today, nothing's tight, and this is more or less most of what this would look like when it's installed. Lemme step out of the way there again. But keep in mind there's gonna be some more brackets that are here on the table, on both sides that are gonna be attached to this as well to then help hold this to the frame of that vehicle. Now, as you know, this will give you a improved ride stability, air bags will help reduce rear-end swag, or sag rather, sway and bounce, giving you better handling on your load while you're driving. And again, folks, everything here, no drilling.
I know there's a lot of stuff. Don't be afraid of it, it's not too bad. Just take your time, read the instructions. We've probably got a video or two on our website as well of us installing these on your particular vehicle. Now, you're gonna use manual inflation with this particular kit.

Installed this past weekend. Haven't towed with it yet. Nice construction and finish. I have a 2025 Chevrolet Trail Boss 2500HD and the spacers are NOT needed. Measurement for needing the spacers in 7" and above between jounce cup and contact pad. My space was 5.5" to 6".

Direct bolt on, plug and play
The product is a great product. After installation was completed and the air added to the air suspension, it raised the rear end of the van about 2-3 inches.A very nice improvement.
Installation instructions definitely need better quality diagrams.
Easy to install and work just as I had expected. Great finish on brackets and quality hardware. Easy to follow instructions. Highly recommend these airbags!
The 2" spacers are definitely not needed for a Trail Boss. I could barely get them in, and now the ride is super stiff. Now I have to get back under the truck and remove the spacers. Not looking forward to that. It was very difficult installation, for no reason.
