You know your truck needs more rear height, not another suspension system to adjust. Solid cast iron blocks add a fixed 2" lift, with Grade 10.9 U-bolts and corrosion-resistant hardware built for life underneath your truck.

Highlights

  • Add 2" of Rear Height: Fixed rear blocks raise your truck for a permanent stance change.
  • Keep the Same Height Loaded or Unloaded: Fixed rear lift needs no air pressure or ongoing adjustment.
  • Choose Solid Cast Iron Over Nylon: Solid cast iron blocks provide a durable alternative to nylon rear blocks.
  • Use Tapered Rear Blocks: Tapered 2" blocks maintain the intended suspension geometry when installed in the correct orientation.
  • Secure the Lift With High-Strength Hardware: Grade 10.9 steel U-bolts clamp the rear blocks into the suspension.
  • Resist Under-Truck Corrosion: Geomet-coated U-bolts and zinc-plated flange nuts face road spray and debris.

Features to know about

Set the Rear 2" Higher and Leave It There

If you already know your truck needs another 2" of rear height, this kit makes that change with a fixed rear lift instead of an adjustable suspension system. The rear blocks add a permanent height change, so that added rear lift remains when the towing or hauling weight comes off. You get a known rear-height increase that stays in place loaded or unloaded.

Solid Hardware for an Under-Truck Installation

Suspension hardware lives where road spray, moisture, dirt, and debris are part of the job, so the materials matter once your kit is installed. The rear blocks are solid cast iron, while the Grade 10.9 steel U-bolts use a Geomet coating and the flange nuts are zinc plated for corrosion resistance.

Know What the Extra Height Changes

A fixed lift doesn't respond to changing cargo or trailer weight, so the added rear height needs to be the stance change you actually want before installation. Trucks with an existing factory block may see less than the stated 2" increase because the factory block is removed rather than stacked with the new one. Existing suspension modifications should also be considered before the parts go on, and the kit doesn't increase manufacturer-rated payload, axle, or towing capacity.

Custom Installation

You'll start by measuring your truck's stock ride height before raising the rear and supporting both the frame and axle. Working one side at a time, you'll disconnect the lower shock mount, remove the factory U-bolts, and lower the axle enough to position the new tapered block between the leaf spring and axle perch. Any existing factory block is removed rather than stacked with the new block, and each tapered block must be installed with its short side toward the front of the truck. Once the alignment pins are fully seated and the blocks sit flush against the leaf springs, the supplied U-bolts secure the assembly before the lower shock hardware is reinstalled and everything is torqued at normal ride height. Trucks equipped with dynamic rear suspension also require the factory ride-height calibration routine after installation. Rear suspension work is a job experienced DIYers can handle, but if you would rather leave it to a professional, we can help you find an installer near you.
