Today, we're going to be taking a look at the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air Filter. Now, what that's going to do is keep dirt and debris from entering into your engine. And it has this pleaded paper design here on the front. and the back. And what that's going to do, the pleats are going to give it a little bit more surface area. And the paper's going to filter out that dirt and debris.
Keep those particulates from entering in your engine. Now, by filtering that stuff out, you're going to get increased air flow and performance out of your vehicle, especially once you replace this filter. It's going to let that air pass through more freely. It also has this silicone gasket here all around the outside of the filter, and that's going to create a nice tight seal between the filter and your air intake. It is recommended to change these once a year or 12,000 to 18,000 miles, just depending on how often you're driving your vehicle, or if your owner's manual recommends something more specific than that.
Now this is designed to fit Nissan Titans from 2017 on up with a V8 engine, but be sure to check our fit guide, to make sure it's going to fit your specific year before you buy it. Now as far as some dimensions of this filter go, our width here is going to be 11 and five eighths inches wide, and then you're going to see the slope here kind of going up. So at the tallest point here, we're going to be measuring at 10 inches tall from the bottom of the filter to the top here. This is a really easy part to replace and just do yourself. And it's going to give you a much better performance out of your vehicle.
