Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Hellwig rear anti-sway bar for the Ram trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2021 and newer Ram 1500 trucks. Now, this anti-sway bar will minimize side-to-side movement to improve overall stability of your vehicle.

It'll let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence, and allows for a nice level ride, even on irregular surfaces. Helps reduce driver fatigue 'cause it'll minimize the effort that's required to keep your vehicle in line. I did wanna zoom in and show you one of the nice features on this. They offer polyurethane bushings instead of the standard rubber variety, gives you a lot longer lasting system. Basically, the polyurethane is durable, it's resistant to damage that can be caused by oil, gas, and ozone.

And, of course, less wear on your system will mean less give in the system and better support. Now, normally when the polyurethane bushings are used on the sway bar, the grease that is used on installation will dry out over time and the bushings will start to shrink. So what Hellwig try to do to eliminate a lot of that is the finish on the sway bar itself, if you look, it's a silver vein hammer tone finish, has small divots in the finish that helps keep the grease in the bushings and keep the polyurethane bushings greased to eliminate any noise. Now, the bar itself is constructed with a thick 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength. The diameter on this bar is 7/8 of an inch.

This is designed to fit your vehicle and work in conjunction with its suspension system. Basically, this will attach to your rear axle and to the chassis, and it uses the weight of your axle to brace the frame as it shifts and turns. It even avoids interference with most of your popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories. Does include everything laid out here on the table.
