By supporting the stock suspension, it reduces tire wear and strain on factory parts while helping maintain control and stability on the road.
Every load is different, so being able to dial in the perfect pressure makes a big difference. These polyurethane air springs can be inflated or deflated between 5 psi and 35 or 50 psi depending on spring pitch, letting you balance comfort when empty with firmness when loaded. The manual Schrader valves included in the kit make it easy to add or release air as needed, and each spring can be adjusted independently to even out side-to-side weight differences.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Air Lift 1000 Universal Air Helper Springs for your rear coil springs. Now, this kit here will provide your vehicle with up to a thousand pounds of load-leveling support that will reduce the strain on your rear suspension and improve both safety and ride quality. These are designed to support your existing rear coil spring suspension when you're hauling or towing. They will keep your vehicle level when you're hauling a heavy load, helps improve steering and braking performance, helps to maintain safe head lighting and it'll even keep your tires from wearing unevenly. This kit does let you manually adjust the air pressure to get the even load distribution support that you need.
You can level your vehicle front to rear and with the installation of dual airlines, you can inflate each spring independently for side-to-side leveling of any off-center loads. The adjustable air pressure for these springs is 5 PSI up to 50 PSI. Now, they are constructed of a durable molded polyurethane. They are designed to install inside your vehicle's rear coil spring suspension. Now, this kit here is a universal kit and since it's a universal kit, you'll need to make two important measurements to see if this will work for you.
Basically, with your vehicle unloaded and at normal ride height, you're gonna measure the inside height of your coil spring, which will be from the upper spring seat to the lower spring seat. The next measurement will be measuring the inside diameter of the spring in its widest point. Once you have both those measurements, then you can use the table that's on the product page of this part number, to pick the correct universal kit for your application. This kit here is designed to fit the maximum height measurement of six and a half inches and the minimum inside diameter of four and a half inches. And also since the air spring cylinder will inflate, it is okay if the cylinder is slightly undersized compared to the size of the coil spring because some kits like this one will include these spacers to make up for any height differences.
This kit here will include the two air springs, the two heat shields, the four spacers, the airline tubing, all the hardware you need for installation, the Schrader valves for manual inflation, and a nice installation guide that'll show how this all goes together. Now, you can even add a compressor system with in-cab gauges to monitor and automatically adjust the air pressure. Those items we do sell separately on our website. These parts are made in the USA and again, the load-leveling capacity on this kit is up to 1,000 pounds. Now, these Air Lift 1000 springs will not increase your vehicle's weight-carrying capacity, so you do wanna make sure not to exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit.

The airlift system works very well. I installed a leveling kit on my truck. Even with a small load in the bed of my truck, the truck showed sag. With the airbags, I can inflate to the desired height before I load the bed and it doesn't appear to squat!
This air spring kit leveled our RAV4 just the right amount. We towed a LivinLite 8.1 all over the western US with no issues. The install takes a bit of effort (and do be sure to measure carefully if using a universal fit), but once in it was easy to set the pressure and I had no troubles with leaking. I ran the air valve to the side of the hitch to keep it out of the way.

its been a year of using the lift kit on the Jeep Wrangler Rubi (4door). no issues. did replace the clips with tighter fitting clips.

I haven’t installed yet, however Kevin took care of me when I ordered the wrong kit. He immediately sent out the correct kit and I received it in time for our trip. I will be installing this today and I know this is going to be an excellent product.
Used this along with a controller kit to add helper bags to my 2014 Q5 TDI. A year later and it is working perfectly. Helps with the teeter tottering and stability when towing close to the maximum capacity.
