Today, we're going to take a look at the K-Source Electric/Heated Passenger Side Replacement Side Mirror. Now, this is a custom fit part, it is designed to fit the 2006 to 2012 Ford Fusion with the heated power mirror, and also the 2006 to 2010 Mercury Milan with the heated power mirror. Now, on a custom fit part, I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application. Now, this side view mirror's a direct replacement for the passenger side factory mirror on your vehicle. It is modeled after the manufacturer's original look and fit. Does have the power remote capability, so you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle.
This also has heated mirror glass which will clear frost and ice, helps reduce fogging. This mirror does use an OE-grade, convex glass, has first-surface plating to reflect clear images. Basically, the front of the glass is plated with a reflective chrome, and because this is a passenger side mirror, it has a convex lens which provides a wide-angle view, to help reduce any blind spots. It is a breakaway design, the mirror does fold when struck to prevent any breakage. It has a durable plastic housing with a nice, shiny, black finish, and it also can be painted to match your vehicle if need be. This is an easy, no-drill installation.
Has the same footprint and the mounting points as your factory mirror, and it even comes with the mounting hardware to install this. Now, the mirror will plug right into here, it uses the existing electrical wiring. A few specs on this, the quantity is for one passenger side mirror. It does replace the original equipment number, part number 6E5Z17682C. Just a note on this mirror is, the power remote capability and heated glass of this mirror, it will work only if your vehicle has those functions.

The product was as advertised but I was more impressed with the service from etrailer.com. The supplier was a bit slow but the folks at etrailer.com kept me in the loop the entire way. It was very much appreciated as my wife was very anxious about not having the side mirror. The mirror fit and worked on the first try. Just one word of caution, there are no installation instructions with the mirror so you need to be comfortable taking a door panel off and doing the install. Kudos to Megan and the other staff that were so helpful!
Fit perfectly, fast service. My auto body guy was able to install quickly at low cost. overall more than half of it would have cost at the dealership.
My only issue is that I asked for the passenger side view mirror, for my 2012 Subaru Forrester. My vehicle, the side view mirrors also have lights on both, so oncoming drivers can get an additional signal, letting them know which way I am turning. The mirror sent does not have that. So now One mirror has it, and the other side does not. Great
My passenger side truck mirror did not stand a chance after getting too close to a tree while backing up. The replacement mirror from etrailer looks and works as great as the original.

Approximately a 25 minute installation. Great product. Arrived in less than 5 days after ordering. Pretty much a plug and play application. I need to get another push plug, because the ears on one of the inner door mounts broke, while removing it. That stuff happens. Great purchase experience. Highly recommend.
So far so good. The mirror does not shake like my last mirror that I replaced. It is wired properly and not backwards. I would buy again
