Mounted between the steering linkage and chassis, it creates a solid connection that minimizes wander and oversteering. Received my stabilizer and mounts RBK6 within 3 days of placing order. All parts and directions were in the box. I was able to install it on my 1999 Monaco diplomat within a few hours. Would have went quicker but getting the nuts off the chassis was very difficult (they were on very snug). Installed finally and took motorhome for road test and the difference is amazing. I steal have problem with wandering but steering stabilizer has stoped motor home from jerking out of my hands when it drops off the road. Better control.
The steering stabilizer was easy to install, took less than 20 minutes. The motorhome is a lot easier to drive and large trucks do not effect the motorhome like they did before the stabilizer was installed.
Received the Roadmaster RSSA yesterday and installed it today on my 2007 Holiday Rambler Diesel Pusher motorhome. The install went without a hitch. The directions were complete and easy to follow. I took a short test drive after installation and the unit seems to perform as promised. There was much less steering correction required with a stiff cross wind. I look forward to taking a long trip as soon as possible.
The kit was easy to install, but definitely need an impact (1/2" drive) and a torque wrench (250 lb). Aligned the wheels carefully & we installed correctly the first time.
Made an immense difference in handling & control! My son-in-law, who assisted me, was absolutely astonished about the difference. I was anticipating a difference & am so very happy with the result.

Product is robust, mounting brackets are substantial. Installation can be a challenge - removing suspension u-bolt nuts can tax even a powerful impact gun, even after soaking with WD40. After that the unit installs easily. After a couple test drives I can definitely attest to the improvement in steering stability, much less tendency to track ruts in the roadway. Worth the investment.
Received the part in three business days and installed the part in about an hour, on my Raodmaster RV chassis, including reading instructions and tuning. The stabilizer dramatically improves the steering creating a steering wheel experience similar to my late model Ford F150. It also reduces the anxiety of a high speed front tire blowout as it provides substantial turning resistance; certainly hoping so, heaven forbid.
I replaced a generic sway bar a previous owner had installed with this one which is designed for this chassis. The difference was night and day - no more sawing wood down the highway. Drives like a pickup truck now and tracks nicely even when being passed by semi's. Great service form E trailer - as always
The purpose of controlling cross winds, trucks passing etc, this product works perfectly. However I did have a failure of the shock assembly. Something failed on the end of the tub causing the bracket to bend (not come off) then I had a strong pull to one side. Took it back to where it was installed. After examination and calling Roadmaster, a new unit is being shipped to and will be re-installed by a local RV retailer. Both Roadmaster tech support and warranty were great to work with as was/is the RV retailer. I will have to pay to install again as the labor is not warranted by either Roadmaster or the retailer, because I did not buy from them. However, I save considerably by buying from etrailer.

Works very good, but the attachment bracket failed after 10 mo., 6000 miles. Road master replaced the stable service but I had to pay another $100 plus to remove and replace.
Package arrived very quick, in very good condition, unit installed on my Monaco Camelot motor home, works great.
Glad I tried this to help with steering problem. Works as advertised.

Hey George, After speaking with your sales team I was kinda concerned this item was going to be backordered but was surprised with your prompt processing. I muscled this beefy steering stabilizer on in a little over an hour without any special tools (other than a cheater bar). I'm still waiting to road test it but don't anticipate any problems.

Thanks for the fast shipment of this order -- This stablizer was installed on a 07, Monaco Camelot, with a Dana Axle, & air bags -- Your web site states that the RBK6 will not fit a Dana axle -- I called Roadmaster, & they said it will fit, & it does --The The steering stablizer install was not a tough job at all -- The only problem was loosening the nuts that hold the axle, & the bolts not being long enough to add the bracket -- I do have air tools, & I heated the nuts with a plumbers tourch -- It took longer to free the the nuts, that it took to do the rest of the install -- On the test drive, no adjustment was needed -- Very pleased from order to install -- William Willard
This installed in less than an hour, 2006 Monaco La Palma Roadmaster Chassis. I used a 1/2 cordless 1100 Ft lb. impact to remove the spring u-bolts, came right off. The rest is as the instructions say. I took for a road test and drives a straighter. etrailer shipped and I had in a couple of days. etrailer is the best for me. Tools for this is 1/2 drive 15/16 deep socket for the axle U Bolts, 3/8 drive 3/4 inch for the shock bolts and a 3/4 open end wrench, and a 3/8 drive 9/16 deep socket for the tie rod U Bolts. Easy to do yourself.
