Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Utopia tub and shower valve assembly for your RV or camper bathrooms. Now this is a brass construction with half-inch threaded connections, and normally you're replacing this if you have a leaking or worn out shower valve in your RV or bathroom. When I say leaking, if it's constantly dripping and you've turned it off and it's still just dripping, normally it's an indicator that this valve assembly needs replacing. Sometimes you can replace just the cartridge inside of there, but it's a lot more in depth, and sometimes they're really hard to get out if they get a lot of built-up corrosion.
Now this uses a temperature limiter, so it's gonna let you cap the inflow of hot water, prevent scalding, so you can again adjust that a little bit, and it's gonna give you a nice balance of hot and cold water.
