This assembly makes it simple to swap out a worn or damaged Solera awning. The roller tube comes pre-installed with heavy-duty 13.5-oz vinyl fabric, so you don’t have to fight with feeding fabric onto a separate roller. All you need to do is slide the fabric into the awning rail and attach the roller to the support arms. It’s a straightforward way to get a fresh, working awning without the hassle of piecing parts together.
The premium, 13.5-oz vinyl fabric is built to handle tough outdoor use. It’s cold-crack tested to -25°F, so it stays flexible even when the temperature drops. The seams are heat-welded, not stitched, which keeps water from sneaking through. That means your awning keeps its shape and stays leak-free in rain or shine.
The Black Fade fabric starts out black where it meets your RV and gradually transitions to white at the edge. The darker base helps block heat, while the fade adds a clean, modern look when extended. The black roller tube ties it all together, giving your setup a polished finish whether the awning is in or out.
This roller and fabric kit fits Solera XL 20' power awnings that extend 9' 8" (116 inches) from the RV. The fabric measures 19' 1" (229 inches) wide, while the roller tube is 20' wide. To get the right fit, measure from the center of the left arm to the center of the right arm—don’t order based on the old fabric width, since that will be too short.
Installing this kit is quick and frustration-free. The roller easily slides onto the head of each awning arm, and with the fabric already attached, you can finish the install in less time. Once it’s in place, rolling the awning in and out a couple of times will smooth the fabric evenly. It’s an efficient upgrade that saves time and keeps your weekends free.

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here, and today I'm in Elkhart, Indiana, which is the RV capital of the world. And if you have a camper, the name Lippert probably is somewhere on your camper, and today we're at the corporate headquarters, and we're gonna be talking to some of their product experts to take a closer look at their products. So, let's hop inside and get to chatting. So Dymon, if I have a Solera awning already, and I've had it on my camper for a while, but it's got a tear, whether from wear and tear, or it's just starting to get old and dingy and I wanna replace it, you can absolutely do that. Yeah, absolutely. We have replacement fabrics, maybe you want just a different color.
We have a wide variety of colors available to you. All different sizes, you can see down here. So we're going to fit whatever current awning you have. But it's a very convenient way to get a new look on your awning without investing for the whole awning itself. 13 half ounce vinyls, five year warranty on 'em.
So we know it's a good vinyl and it's gonna last a while. And again, you see green burgundies, blue, silvers, sand. You know, at the campsite there's a lot of times you look around, and to stand out at campsites, people want to do that. And you can color coordinate to however you want. So you know, if you're a certain sports team fan and you really want to show it, you can do that with your awning with replacement fabric.
So you know, a good chance, if you are trying to make your camper look a little bit more presentable with a nicer awning or replace a damaged one, it's a good chance that you can get the same one or you can jazz it up a little bit. Or change it if you wish. Yep. Awesome. Well thank you, Dymon, for taking the time to show us the replacement fabric for the Solera awnings.
