How to Properly Measure for Cut-Out Dimension
There are two main dimensions you need to know when choosing a replacement speaker or adding a new speaker or speakers to your audio setup:
The cut-out diameter is the width of the circle needed to ensure the speaker mounts flush to the wall or ceiling.
The mounting depth is the depth needed behind the mounting surface for the speaker's frame and magnet structure to fit.

Today's we're going to take a look at the recessed mount 35-watt marine speaker with LED lights for a quantity of one. Now this outdoor speaker projects sound from your TV and radio onto your boat, RV, or camper. It is a full-range design speaker, so does reproduce the high frequency and bass sounds. Does also offer blue LED lights which will provide a nice, luminous glow in the dark. I'm going, at the end of this video, I am going to hook this up to power just to show you those lights.It's a durable plastic construction. It's UV resistant, waterproof.
It is a simple bolt on installation. Now the mounting hardware to install this is not included. And you can see, it's black color. A few specs on this. The woofer diameter, going to right at 5 inches.
Maximum wattage is 35 watts. The impedance if 4 ohms. It is for a quantity of one speaker. Give you some overall dimensions. From edge to edge, including the grill, you're looking right at 6 inches.
Overall height, the very top is going to be right at 2-1/2 inches. The mounting hole spacing, in other words, the four mounting holes here, the distance between them center to center is right at 3-7/8 inches.So now what I'm going to do is we're going to hook this up to some power. I just want to show you how bright the light is. And we'll turn off the overhead lights. Okay, we got em hooked up.
So what I'm going to do is go ahead and turn on the power. Let's get it . there we go. So with the power on, you can see there's four small blue LEDs. I'll go ahead an turn off the overhead lights. And there you can see it gives you a nice luminous glow while your speaker's working. We'll go ahead and turn back on the overhead lights. We'll got ahead an disconnect it. But that should do it for the review on the recessed mount 35 watt marine speaker with LED lights for a quantity of one.
