Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at a coupler lock pin with chain by RV Designer. Now if you're not sure what these are used for, they're very simple. These will go through your coupler latch system. You can then pin it and keep that safety latch closed and secure while transit. Now this is considered a 5/16 inch thick by two and 1/2 inch usable length if it's common trailer coupler latch applications.
You do get a nice little chain here as well. What you would do is then take a self tapper screw most likely, and then put this right into the metal frame of the trailer or the coupler itself. That way it's not gonna go flying off. Or if it does come unlatched, it's still secure to the coupler itself and you can also just kind of leave it hanging when the trailer's not in use as well. You're gonna get quantity one.
And that's gonna wrap up our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
