Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the RV Designer Adapter. This is gonna adapt a 7-way RV round connection down to a 4-way flat connection. And this is gonna be for lightweight trailer connection. So I wanna start out with a lot of people over the years have mentioned this and so I wanna point out, if you look in there, obviously this is gonna fit into your 7-way RV plug, but you're only getting four terminals to then give you the stop tail turn and ground that you need for a standard 4-way flat to work.
So again, this is just gonna work with a four flat. If you need a 5-way flat adapter or five flat, we carry them as well. You can find them separately. Now the nice thing about this is you got finger lugs to pull it back out of the socket when it's time to remove it. Heavy duty plastic with nickel plated copper terminals inside that's gonna resist corrosion and it's gonna be really easy to use.
Toss it in your glove box, toss it in a toolbox when you're not using it, just I don't recommend leaving these plugged in and on the trailer side, some people do. I just think over time you're gonna allow moisture and things to get in there, even though it is sealed up, it's just best practice to take it out when not using it, in my opinion. So again, durable nylon housing, everything here you need to go from a 7-way blade down to a 4-way flat adapter. And that will wrap up our look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
