Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer Momentary rocker switch. Now this switch is designed to control functions that need to run in two directions, such as a slide out system. It uses a Momentary on off, Momentary on design, which means that the switch returns to the center off position when released and can be pressed in either direction as you're seeing here to extend or retract the slide out. This is rated for up to 20 amps so it can handle higher draw circuits commonly found in RVs and trailer applications. And this does feature six terminals, as you can see here, allowing it to be wired in double pole, double throw configuration, which is what makes reversing the direction of a motor possible.
Installation's gonna be pretty straightforward if you're replacing existing switch. This measures about one and 1/2 inches tall and about 13/16 inches wide. So it's a common size that fits many standard switch panel cutouts. So this is gonna be a durable, high capacity reversing switch that's gonna be great for controlling slide outs, landing gear, or other 12 volt motorized components that need reliable operation in both directions.
