Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV Designer Tan RV Floor Register. Now, if you're looking at replacing an RV floor vent, this register is designed to improve airflow while giving you a more durable alternative to the plastic vents that are commonly found in many RVs. One of the biggest advantages is it's undamper design, which means there are no adjustable louvers or dampers restricting the air coming through the vent. Air is gonna be able to flow freely through the opening, helping eliminate bottlenecks that sometimes occur, with traditional adjustable registers. If you've noticed weak airflow from your furnace or HVAC system, a fully open register like this one can help maximize the air reaching the living space.
Now this register is built from metal rather than plastic, making this a solid upgrade for RV owners dealing with cracked, brittle, or broken factory vents. The metal construction's also gonna help prevent issues that can occur when damaged plastic vents catch dirt, debris, or even snag shoes or cleaning tools. Lemme go ahead and retrieve my ruler here, give you some measurements. So looking at the overall length let's call it about 11 and 1/2 inches. The overall height, about three and 3/4 or so, and then looking at the cutout here, about 10 inches by two inches.
So this is going to be a good fit for those RVs with narrower floor vent openings where the larger registers won't work. The tan finish is designed to blend naturally with lighter colored flooring and interior decor, giving it a cleaner, more factory installed appearance instead of drawing attention to itself. One thing I wanted to mention, hardware is not included with this, so you'll just reuse the screws if that's what you're using to hold your bench into place from your previous vent. But if not, you'll just have to pick up some matching screws from your local hardware store. Well, again, my name's Andy.

It will work but not as I pictured. The register has no adjustable damper, just an open all the time vent cover. Too expensive for what you receive.
