great product!

by:

Built really well and stands up to the rigors of camping. No complaints on this purchase.

by:

Good products, pricing, and very quick shipping. Thank you

by:

It's exactly what it says it is. The ownership of this Camco has created one of the most unpleasant chores for me related to our travel. That being said so would all other toilets in this category. We are van campers and this unit is in the same 85 sq ft that we are and it contains all aspects of it use perfectly. The quality is of the highest grade, especially at this price point. If you read this you need one, get it.

by:

just the best for tent camping no more walking to the bath house at night to use the potty, older people know what that is like. no smell, no muss, no fuss. easy to empty, easy to clean and ready to use again. the flush works , I put a dab of vasaline where the flush slide door is .easy to flush changed our world. should have had this years ago. very happy!

by:

Very nice, shipping was fast the first on had a broken lid, but no problem on getting a replacement.

by:

We were surprised at the quick, timely shipment of the portable toilet. It was very well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. The product is easy to manage and will take care of our travel needs. It fits nicely into our van and will do the trick in our out of sate travel.

by:

After a few uses, the toilet started leaking. At first, I thought it was just water leaking, but of course it was urine seeping out of the knob used to flush the toilet. I threw it away after owning it for a few months.

etrailer is a great company to deal with. I've ordered electrical parts to a toilet and i always get fast, reliable service. They ship their products right away. Great company and terrific customer service.

I came upon your web site by pure accident and so glad I did. I need a bunch of things and the reps I talked with that helped me, Jesse, Erica, Nick were so extremely kind and helpful, it was a joy and fun knowing that they had my best interest in mind. One of the items, CAM41545, travel toilet, is perfect. It's just what I needed for our camper. The one that came in the camper broke and couldn't get the part for it, so this one will work out very nicely. We'll be living in the camper until we can find a permanent place to live. Thank you all so much for everything.

by:

It’s a Piece of garbage .. it is 2 separate tanks .
A water tank and a storage tank . When you flush water and waste leak through the middle of the two tanks where they meet up . Very dissatisfied..

by:

This is my first portable toilet, but it is designed to work exactly the way a portable toilet should. The ABS housing is very sturdy and feels "solid" when I sit on it. The hand pump is very easy to use and puts an amazing amount of water all the way around the bowl to wash its surface. The holding tank seal works easily, and does not leak. I have tested the holding tank with water, and it is easy to handle and it empties without any leaks. So far, so good!!

I am a return customer as Amazon had a 1month+ on this new design camco porta- potty. My next call was etrailer and talked to Customers Serv. Hally C. Had all the answers and it shipped that same evening, and arrived at my place a full day early. Super buying experience great job by etrailer.
Camco 41545 is a new design travel toilet that is very recently released and I have been following this product waiting to replace the 41541 which rd workedd well but I'm 71 and I was always fighting the d**n side latches. I use only camco treatment as Walmart is close and it works well. This new design is a lifesaver for me and very easy to use. The new latching handle, flush handle on side, triple spray head, one the BOWL IS DEEPER AND LONGER, thanks Camco. I'm equally impressed with the construction and materials are built and feel stronger.
Only used one weekend but I will update my review at the end of the season. I'm Kojack in indy.

Just got the port a potty and have not tried it yet, hope to in a day or two.
I opened it up and it looks great and it will work great in my new van camper build.
I have bought several things from etrailer and I like all of them and got them at a good price and fast service.

As this is the first Travel Toilet I've ever owned I don't have anything to compare this to for this review. I'll start with the good: This was reasonably priced compared to other toilets I've seen on line, and looks well made and finished nicely. The height and width fit me and I'm 6' 2", 220. In use I didn't notice any odors after closing the plate at the bottom of the bowl, and the hand pump for flushing worked well. Emptying the bottom reservoir was easy using the spout provided. My wife and I used it on a two week trip in our small cargo toyhauler when we had to but mainly used the campground facilities.

The Bad: Right out of the box I had a problem. After putting it on the floor I attempted to separate the top from the bottom by pulling the lever in the back. I thought I heard a plink but the top came off easily and didn't think any more about it. I put the top back on then noticed the lever was loose which it wasn't when I removed it the first time. I removed it again and saw a slot that looked like a spring should be there. Luckily I found the spring on the floor and inserted it. The spring sits in a deep pocket on one end and has a short ledge on the other to keep it in. When you pull the lever to remove the top the short ledge disappears and the spring is free to shoot out whenever it feels like it. Find a similar spring as a spare or keep some ducktape handy to hold the lever in because it will happen.
Next, the gasket for the cap on the emptying spout. When I removed the cap when I got it out of the box the first time the gasket was crumbled up in the cap like it was hastily assembled. I removed it and tried to put it back in but the gasket is larger in diameter than the area it has to fit in. I tried my best with it and finally gave up and stuck it back in as good as I could get it. It needs a smaller gasket but seemed to work anyway.
Finally, holding it down. It is a smooth modern looking thing but there are no provisions I can see for keeping it from moving around. Maybe the manufacturer has one in the works but there are no notches, etc. for keeping it in one place. I finally got 2 small pieces of 3/4 plywood and scribed the shape of the base on the front and back on the plywood, sawed them out, and screwed them to the floor. A bungee cord keeps it tied down. Not elegant but it works. If you have a cabinet to put it in you may not need anything.

All in all it worked well even with the glitches I found.

With everyone in the country going camping this summer. I had issues finding a Potti for my recent trailer build. When I ordered the domestic it showed it would not ship in time due to not being in stock. I called and they quickly found this item in stock. Changed my order refunded the difference and made sure it still left the warehouse the same day.
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
as to the product we went on a 6 day camping trip and it functions as it should. No issues

In the middle of Pandemic Summer 2020, we took off on a camping trip out west. Decided we needed a bathroom for the kids when we were away from the camper. Great purchase! It still rides around in the back of our Sequoia when temps are above freezing. It has worked flawlessly, is easy to empty/clean, and we have noticed no odors. 6500+ miles last year without a stop in a public rest room. I'd buy it again.

by:

Product arrived quickly and included instructions for installation that were easy to follow. It is a fairly simple installation, just like the website product page indicated. Very satisfied with this product! Thank you etrailer.com!

by:

I haven’t used the product yet but it is exactly what was advertised.
It showed up on our door step sooner than expected. No other vendor had this product in stock. Thanks etrailer

by:

fast shipping, price OK

by:

This fit our needs and is still going strong after one whole year of daily use Sep-June.

by:

I haven't had the opportunity to use this yet, however I believe this is just what I needed. It arrived in a timely fashion. and seems to be well thought out and well constructed. Fit and finish is great.

  • Emptying Tank on Camco Travel Toilet
The Camco Travel Toilet # CAM41535 will have a couple of features to assist with the disposal of your deposit. It is basically a holding tank just like an RV sewer tank, so there is a limit to what it can do. I've attached a review video to assist. There is not a processor to break down the waste. You may...
