This kit makes it easy to replace a broken or leaky plumbing vent and get a watertight finish again. It comes with installation screws and putty that form a leak-proof seal, keeping rain and odors from sneaking in through worn vent openings.
The vent is built from black copolymer polypropylene plastic that stands up to heat, sun, and corrosion. It won’t chalk or crack the way older brittle vents can after years of exposure on the roof.
You don’t have to hunt for an exact match—this vent fits outside diameter pipes between 1" and 2-3/8". That makes it a handy go-to replacement for many standard plumbing vent setups.
The compact black vent sits neatly on the roof without sticking up awkwardly. At 5-1/4" long, 5-1/4" wide, and 3-3/8" tall, it gives a finished, uniform look once installed while keeping airflow smooth through the plumbing system.

Still working great.
The vent fit great! It is a perfect replacement for my shattered vent cover, and I received it quickly. Only issue is I went on top of the trailer to replace it, I discovered I actually had two vent covers which were shattered: not just one. Etrailer is very efficient, they actually called me to find out if this was a duplicate order, which I assured them it wasn't duplicate and relayed my story of finding the second vent cover shattered when I climbed on top of the RV. I truly appreciate etrailers diligence to ensure that I was not duplicating my order. I am so glad I found this great, and reasonably priced, company to find parts for my RV through.
Seems to work well. I didn't end up using the included putty. There was so much lap sealant around the old hole I couldn't remove it - was 3mm thick and I was afraid of tearing the roof membrane. So I leveled the old lap sealant with a razor blade and then screwed right through that to install the new vent. Fresh lap sealant around the edge and over the installation screws and tada
This vent works just fine. However, I also purchased a set of 16 inch G rated tires to replace the E's that came on the trailer. Best decision I have made regarding the trailer. We own a 40ft Grand Junction with a 14,000lb GWR. Have been Cal to Florida with no problems and good wear. Even across the desert at 114 degrees we just cruised. Looking forward to my next trip where I no longer worry about the tires blowing.
