Now, a blowout plug, as you probably already know, is a simple tool that's going to help you winterize your RV by clearing water out of the plumbing lines with compressed air. So by removing that leftover water first, you can prevent it from diluting the antifreeze that you add afterwards. That's gonna make sure that your RV is properly protected from freezing temperatures. This is also very easy to use.
The quick, this, the Quick Connect, rather, design is going to install at your RV's city water inlet without any tools. Once it's connected, you'll just open up your faucets and drains and attach an oil-less air compressor and run compressed air through the system until the water lines are clear. Now, just keep in mind that the air compressor is not included with this. This is just gonna be for this blowout plug. But it is made of durable brass, so it's built to hold up through repeated winterizations.

I successfully used the blow-out plug to winterize my Keystone Springdale trailer. The plug made the job simple and easy.
Saw this browsing items to get to free shipping level (I look at it as free stuff). Last year I used duct tape to create the seal for the air hose, expect many years of service from this and it can be sanitized easily.
As with all my other purchases at etrailer, ( @12 so far) this item was delivered on time and as advertised. I’ve used this item to blow out water from my camper, boat and sprinkler system to winterize and it works like a charm.
I thought I was going to have a hard time finding this part for my camper, so I jump on-line at etrailer.com and low and behold they had the part. It can quickly, so I was able to make repair and get back to camping.........
This item does exactly what you would expect, connect to the water connection, connect hose from compressor and Voila! It does have a small hole to allow reduced pressure to your water system- probably a good thing since you can easily generate over 100 PSI air pressure which would surely wreck something.
I used my camper almost every week last winter. I live in northeast nebraska so had to blow out the water lines after each use. The blowout plug made the process guck and easy.
Made well, easy to use and works great. Perfect alternative to antifreeze. I used it with a portable air tank but could also be used with a compressor just make sure the pressure is dialed way down.
Just what you need to winterize your camper, or sprinkler lines! Easy to use on my camper by hooking it up to the city water inlet, opening the faucets and hooking up the compressor to blow out the water. Everyone in a climate that has temps below freezing needs one of these!

I just got done winterizeing my camper,these air water fittings are awesome,defin way better quality than those cheap plastic ones,it also worked great for blowing water out of my garden hoses as well,my compliment to the factory workers who made this,excellant quality a product well made,thank you,well worth the money to buy it
I used this connector to winterize my RV Motor Home. It worked great to blow the water out of the lines. the adaptor screws into the fresh water intake on your RV. Be sure to follow the winterizing instructions for your particular RV and don't use too much air pressure. Nothing froze over the winter so it must have worked! Again, be sure to follow the winterizing instructions for you own RV.

I used this plug and an air compressor to remove all water from my water supply system in our travel trailer. One faucet valve was left open at all times to prevent too much pressure buildup in the system. Once one line cleared I would open another line's valve and close the previous one. I like this system a lot better than having to pump antifreeze through out the system and then having to flush it out in the spring.

Actually I have not used it yet I will winterize my trailer next month but I like the quality. I also plan to use it blow out the hoses attached to the house
