Designed for 2nd generation MORryde StepAbove steps (MR86RR - sold separately), this durable 2-piece step rug set gives you a place to wipe off your feet after a hike on the trails. Hook-and-loop fastening strips provide extra support to keep the rugs snug to your RV Steps.
If your MORryde steps have a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place, you have the first generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
If your MORyde steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustment, you have the second generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
The rugs wrap around your steps and secure with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. For each rug, the 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Rugs can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a look at these Prest-O-Fit 2-Piece Step Rug Sets for the 2nd Generation MORryde StepAbove RV steps. These are in obsidian black, and this set is going to wrap around your 2nd Generation MORryde StepAbove steps. Our item number on our website for those steps that these are gonna work with is MR86RR. And these rugs are going to give you a place to wipe the dirt, the mud, the grass, and other debris off of your feet, so there's less sweeping and mopping inside of your RV, so that's always a good thing. And again, this is for the second generation, and if you're not sure if you have the first or the second generation, an easy way to tell is that the first generation uses a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place, the second generation steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustment. So if you have the button, this set is going to work for your steps.
This kit fits the StepAbove steps with a top step tread width of 17 1/2 inches and a top step depth of eight inches, and they will cover your steps with this heavy-duty outdoor turf that has strong bristle fibers that's going to do a great job of removing that dirt and debris from your shoes, keeping it outside where it belongs, and you won't be tracking that into your RV, it's gonna do a better job than standard turf. This material is also UV resistant, as well as mold and mildew resistant, so when it's time to clean them off, it's very easy, just spray them down with the hose, let them air dry, and you'll be good to go. These rugs are gonna be perfect for keeping pets from being scared of climbing up on your metal steps, so this will be perfect for allowing them to comfortably climb up those steps. And as you have been seeing on the back here, they do have a textured rubberized back, which will help keep them in place. But then, in addition, there's also some other ways in which these rugs will stay secure.
First, there are these hook-and-loop strips on the top and the bottom of each rug piece, so you just adhere these hook-and-loop strips to your steps and then that's going to allow you to easily remove these if you need to clean them and then put them back into place. But really, the primary way that you're gonna be securing these rugs are gonna be with these included springs, and let me grab one of these springs here and just give you a brief demonstration of what this looks like. So these springs have a hook on either end, and you would just hook them like this, again, around your step, and then they're gonna provide the tension that you need to ensure a nice snug fit. These springs are also zinc-plated steel, so they're going to be rust resistant. So with the rubberized textured back, the hook-and-loop strips, and these springs, you can see that these are going to hold secure on your step.
Now, no screws, no glue, no tools needed, very easy installation. And again, this is for a two step kit, and the top step that I have right here, as you have noticed, is a little bit larger, so this one's going to be for your top step, this rug here, and then, this rug will be for your bottom step. So if you're looking to add some step rugs to your 2nd Generation MORryde StepAbove steps, I think this is gonna be a great kit for you. Again, this is in black.
