If your MORryde steps have a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place, you have the first generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
If your MORyde steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustment, you have the second generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
The rugs wrap around your steps and secure with included hook-and-loop fastening strips and springs - no screws, glue, or tools needed. For each rug, the 2 hook-and-loop fastening strips stick to the front edge and top, back portion of the step. Once the rug is aligned and pressed firmly to the step, the springs connect the front and back grommet holes of the rug underneath your RV step, giving you a clean, seamless look. Rugs can quickly be removed for cleaning and easily reattached when you're finished.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with the etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a look at this Prest-O-Fit three-piece step rug set for the second-generation MORryde StepAbove RV step, and these are in buckskin brown. Now this set is going to wrap around your second-generation MORryde StepAbove steps. The item number that we have for those steps that these will work with, the first one is MR68RR and the second item number is MR78RR. These rugs will work with those second-generation MORryde StepAbove steps.
Now, obviously these rugs are going to give you a place to wipe the dirt and the mud and the grass and other debris off the bottom of your shoes. So that means less sweeping and mopping for you inside of your RV. So that's always a good thing. Again, this is for the second-generation and if you're not sure which you have either the first or the second-generation steps, an easy way to tell is that the first-generation uses a removable pin to adjust and lock the legs in place. The second-generation steps have a button that releases the legs for adjustment.
So if you have the button, this set is going to work for you. This kit fits rather the step above steps with a top step tread width of 23 and a half inches and a top step tread depth of eight inches or 10 and a half inches. And they will cover your steps with this heavy duty outdoor turf that has a strong. They have strong bristle fibers. It's gonna do a great job of removing that dirt and debris off the bottom of your shoes, keeping it outside, where it belongs so you don't track it into your RV.
This is gonna do a better job than and standard turf. And this material is also UV resistant as well as mold and mildew resistant. So when it's time to clean them off, it's very easy. You just spray it off of the hose, let it air dry and you're gonna be good to go. Another benefit of having rugs like this over your steps is that's gonna be perfect for pets as it covers that hard uninviting metal that might scare them off.
Now, as you have already seen the back of these rugs have a textured rubberized back here and that's going to help keep them secure on your metal step, but there's also additional ways in which these will stay secured on your step as well versus these hook and loop strips that are on the top and the bottom of each rug piece. And you would just adhere one side of the hook and loop strips to your steps and then this is gonna make it very easy to not only put on the step and hold secure but also to remove if you need to clean these off. So that's an additional way that these will be secured on your step, but really the primary way is gonna be with these included springs. Let me just kinda give you a brief demonstration of how this would work. So this rug when it's over your step after you secure it with the hook and loop strips then you would just also attach it with these springs. And these springs are gonna provide tension to ensure that these rug pieces have a nice secure snug fit around your step. These springs are also zinc plated steel so they're going to resist rust. So no screws, no glue, no tools needed. This is gonna be a very easy installation. Again, this is a three step kit, the bottom step, one of the bottom steps that we've been looking at, you're gonna get two bottom steps. They are identical to this. They're exactly the same but the top step is going to be a little bit different. It has these longer tabs as you see here and these tabs are going to allow you to run these through the kick plate holes. So these can wrap around that top step and hold this rug in place. So that's why the top one is just a little bit different than these other ones. So if you are looking to add some step rugs to your second-generation MORryde StepAbove steps, this is gonna be a great kit for you to consider. Again, these come in brown.
