Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement Gear Motor Assembly for the Lippert Component Power Gear Slide-Out. Now, this will replace the gear motor assembly on your Power Gear Slide-Out. Works on the Power Gear part numbers 523143, 523529, 523823, or the 523982. This is a dual output shaft.
Now, the pin is not included. It is a high torque design. You can see, it has a two pin electrical connection here. And the approximate running amps on this motor is 12 amps. And again, this is...

There was a slice in the rubber protective handle that releases the unit for manual movement of slide. Packaging could have been improved box was in bad shape when received. Customer service from Arthur was excellent.
The product arrived in a timely manner wrapped in bubble wrap. I removed the old one in two pieces. The new one fit in the old ones place with a minor move of the the shaft with the pin in it. Hooked up the two wires and tried it out.
Seemed to work like a new one!
The new motor did not match the mounting bracket
Lowest available price for this motor and the availability of fast (if somewhat pricey) shipping meant that we did not have to cancel our plans. Bolted right up and so far it works well.
