Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the replacement gear motor assembly by Lippert Components. This is going to replace the gear motor assembly on your Lippert Components power gear slide out assembly with the part number you see on the screen there, so this is specific to that slide out assembly.When you're looking for a replacement gear motor, the easiest way to make sure that you're getting the right component is to check the part number on the motor that you're removing. So if you see on this one right here, we've got our part number, which is the 383902, so you should be able to find the part number on the motor that you're replacing and then just find that same part number, make sure that you're getting the exact same motor assembly that you need for your setup.If you can't find that number or there's one or two ways to go about that. If you can't find that part number, call Lippert Components, they should be able to give you an updated number.
If it's an outdated model number, they might have made a change, giving the part a new number so they will be able to help you with that. The other option is to look at your slide-out assembly. You should have a system number there that you can give them at Lippert Components. They'll. be able to tell you which part number you need for your motor assembly.
Either way, you want to want to make sure that you're getting the exact same motor assembly so that it will work for you.You can see we've got two drive shafts on this one and the brake. You want to make sure that you're getting the same kind of component to make sure that it is going to operate your slide out efficiently and not cause any sort of problems. So two ways to make sure that this is the right product for you, just check that number. If you don't see that number, give Lippert a call, easy way to get it all sorted out. This was exactly like the one we took out. Quick delivery and great price.
Motor is slightly larger than my original slide motor but mounted and cleared all areas needed. Since it’s a larger motor it has more torque and operates slide easily.
Sales rep was very friendly and very helpful the part was an exact match for the old part and it arrive two days earlier than expected

It is doing the job it was designed for. The only problem was the delay in time for the manufacturer to provide the part to ETrailer.
The unit works but I had to change the wiring as it was out when in was correct for slide out. The connector was correct to match old one Price was high
