AJ: What's up everybody It's AJ with Etrailer.com. Today we're going to be checking out this power cord adapter. What it's going to do is you've got the 30 amp female end here, it's going to convert it to the 15 amp male end. You just put it on your cord coming from your rig, to convert it and that way you can plug it into your garage. Let's check it out.You saw me plug into the wall in our garage, let's see if the lights work. Looks like we got power, which is good because it's going to be able to help us power up the smaller things like the light or our refrigerator here and that way we can get it up and running the day before we leave.

Get it powered up, let it cool down because you know the refrigerators don't cool instantly. It takes a little bit of time. So you could plug it in, let it cool down, load it up with your stuff for your adventure, that way it's cold when you get there because if you wait, it's not going to be cold by the time you get there and that will just be frustrating.I will say that this one's a little bit smaller than the other one that Mighty Cord offers. It's got more round so there's more to grab and unplug it. It's a minor inconvenience, it's not a huge deal breaker or anything because it still works just fine.

But it's a little harder to grab onto this one and push it on and then pull it back off. But if you have limited plug space maybe on your outlets and you need a smaller one like this, so that everything fits, it's going to work just fine. So all in all, it works just fine for what it is. It's going to help you convert that 30 plug to a 15 amp plug, that way you can run minor things on your rig while you're prepping to go on your adventure or while you're just cleaning it out. So again, the lights, the fridge.

I wouldn't recommend also running the A/C, also running the coffee maker, TV or whatever in there. That's going to be too much for it.
