Adam: What's going on, everybody Adam here with etrailer. Today, I got a problem. I got a trip I'm preparing for, but I don't really have the best power hookup to be able to power my whole rig and get it ready for the trip. What I'm going to be using today is a Valterra electrical adapter. Pretty much, I'm going to have a female end on this side, and that is going to be supplied about 30 amps worth of power. Then I'm going to have a male side on the other end, which is going to give me about 15 amps of power.

Plenty for what I really need.I just want to put a fan in there, get everything kind of cleaned up, maybe slide out the slides, turn on the AC possibly, and maybe just get that refrigerator going. I'm not going to be able to do all of that at once with the adapter here, but we're going to do our best to get as much as we can prepared with the electrical hookups that we have.A lot of the times you get in a bind, depending on if you go to a random campsite, and you're starting to pack up, or you just get there. You realize they don't really have all the connections you need. Whether they're not working, or they're just not there. This way, it's going to help us convert it.

We have a lot of different converters here at etrailer.What I'm using today as a generator, this is going to be powering my whole rig, while I get ready for the trip. Pretty much my issue here was I have a plug like this. I'm not going to be able to use any of the ports on my generator. I'm not really wanting to go buy another generator. So I'm just going to go get a little converter like this, put it in.

It's made of PVC plastic, so it fits in there really nicely. It does have brass fittings. So I'm going to go ahead, plug that in. Now I can go ahead and start the generator and get to work.First thing to check and see if we have power is the lights, and we got it, so we have that. Next thing, we're just going to go ahead and take the slides out, should be enough for that.

We'll go ahead and slide it out. Check that out, moving just as fast as it usually would just on 15 amps. That's awesome. See if the other one does it. It's amazing what a little, simple plug can do in a really, really tough situation. I've been in plenty and having the right amount of converters and stuff like that comes in handy. Trust me. Just like that, we are good. Sweet.So now I'm going to go ahead and get my refrigerator just starting to cool down a little bit. So then maybe by tomorrow I can start packing it full of stuff, so it's going to be nice and cool whenever we go down the road. I would definitely recommend you guys just loading up those storage compartments with a lot of these different converters. There's a lot of different applications for them. Trust me when you're on the road, sometimes you get in a pinch, and we really don't want you to be in a pinch. So that's why we have all sorts of different converters here at etrailer.So go on our website, figure out which ones you want. If there's a couple that you think you might need, I say might as well grab them. It's a small, little purchase that will make a massive difference whenever you're on the road.
