Today we're going to be reviewing part number CAM55205. This is the Camco power grip RV power cord extender. The power cord extender is going to add handles and 18 inches to your RV's 30-amp power cord. You can see here that each end, both the male and the female end, have the built-in handles on each connector. It's going to make unplugging the cord simple and easy. The connectors are a nice, bright yellow color so they are going to be very easy to see in low light conditions and they're very strong and very durable. Here, on the male connector, on the backside of it, this little spot here, is a power light that's going to let you know when you're properly plugged in and receiving power.
The actual wires are protected by a weather-resistant coating, so that way they are not going to be damaged by the elements. That's going to do it for today's review of part number CAM55205. This is the Camco power grip, 18-inch RV power cord extender. .

Looks good. Have not tried yet. Price was great. I had a hard time finding a 30 amp/30 amp. Our rig is setup that we have to use our left hand to plug rig into our receptacle whennwe use the generator... we are right handed. We have a hard time getting the plug out without some struggling from the rig. My husband has had a stroke and I have a hard time getting enough leverage with my left hand so this will be perfect. Ill plug cord into this and then this into rig.
This will enable me to switch power cable from shore power to generator without having to reach to the back of the basement compartment!

Just received the adapter and haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I've wanted one of these for a long time now as the 50 amp plug sticks straight out from the receptacle. Always thought this was a dumb design as it puts a lot of stress on the plug and cord. The prices are starting to look more attractive so I decided to bite the bullet and get one.
Works just as it should. Now I can use my 30 amp extension cord with my 5th wheel when I am at a campsite or storage that does not have 50 amp connections. The adapter arrived just a promised and the customer service was outstanding. I will order from etrailer again.
Extremely high quality. Shipping was faster than was stated. I only needed a shirt extension to reach the 50 amp plug at my home where I store my coach. I've used trailer for other items and price, quality, communication and shipping are all excellent.
I was looking for a pigtail 50 amp connector because of wear and tear om my Coaches 50 Amp cable. E trailer was the only one who had one in stock. Was reasonably priced too
This product is answer to my dreams. Have a 37' Pace Arrow which had a 3.5k generator which was only capable of running one a cat a time. Generator died and I quickly found out generator repair people are rarer than Amish electricians. Bought a 7k generator and was arranging to pay an electrician to wire it in to rv when I discoveees this incredible connection. It twists in to 120/240 outlet on generator and accepts 4 prong rv cord. GREAT!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Turned on both ac's for first time since I owned rv, (over 10 yrs). Within mins rv was cool and I have enough power for another rv. This thing is great. I highly recommend to anyone with an rv with a small generator or generator in need of repair, go buy a 7k running amp generator and this plug and you're set with plenty of electrical power. Also, the quality and durability of this part is suprisingly amazing. You can easily run over this plug with your rv and not phase it. BUY ONE. This will be the best rv purchase you can make. No worries about power surges, even during nasty Michigan storms. This product is the gold standard as the best protection for all motor home/motor Coach/trailer power feeds.
This plug is in use now, and working exactly as it should. It is a shoreline for our Class B RV, plugged into a home circuit. Delivery came as promised, on the day promised, decently packaged without a lot of waste. I'd give it 5 stars, but this has been used a few days only. Our last one was over 30 yrs old when it died.
A great upgrade for my old trailer that had a single run wire for everything. It was intimidating at first, but having the instructions right next to the unit it wasn't too difficult to figure out. I only wish there was a way to turn off battery charging without disconnecting the whole DC, so when i'm running off the battery, it's not trying to also charge it

The elbow connector is doing it’s job. Much easier to connect to the side of our travel trailer than the straight cord connection that came with it. Extends the original cord by 2 feet and relieves the stress on the connection on the side of the trailer. Working well
Just what I needed to take the stress off of my trailer electrical hookup. Heavy duty and well made.
This does all that I hoped for. It’s a solid connection to the 5th wheel. It doesn’t torque the connection with the weight of the cord sticking straight out,
I got this to take the stress off the connections from the hose diameter 50 amp cord. It appears to be very heavy duty and it's nice to have the cord drop straight down instead of sticking straight out and then curving down.
