Need extra light over your camper kitchen sink for when you do the dishes? Or perhaps you need to upgrade the dim, old lights in your enclosed trailer? This dome light has LEDs that give you brighter light underneath a kitchen cabinet, in a walkway, above a shower stall, or by a workbench.
LEDs are more energy efficient, last longer, and burn brighter than lights with incandescent bulbs. You won't have to worry about replacing bulbs that have brittle filaments. And because LEDs draw minimal power, the light won't drain your battery, overload your circuits, or produce too much heat.
Surface-Mount, Bolt-On Installation is Easy
This surface-mount dome light is incredibly easy to install as an upgrade or direct replacement of your existing light. To access the bolt holes, pull the lenses up and away from the housing. Do not use any tools to remove the lenses, as they will crack. Then bolt the housing onto the ceiling, wall, or cabinet before re-installing the lenses. The light has a 2-wire design that hooks up to ground (white wire) and power (black wire). Once you're finished, you can then turn the lights on and off using the integrated rocker switch.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this 12-volt LED RV Dome Light. Now, this single dome light is gonna be perfect underneath maybe a kitchen cabinet or in a walkway in your RV, basically anywhere that you're gonna need a little additional light. And this does include energy-efficient LEDs that are gonna last longer and burn brighter than incandescent bulbs. As you can see, I do have it connected to my power source.
Lemme go ahead and turn my studio lights off just to give you a better idea of just how bright this light is. This light has 12 LEDs and the color temperature is 3,400 Kelvin. So that's a soft, warm tone. It's not overly orange or yellow, but it gives you a more balanced, natural warmth than traditional warm bulb. So, it's a pleasing light, and it does put out quite a bit of light in my opinion.
So I think it's gonna be great for those darker areas of your camper or your RV. I'm gonna turn my studio lights back on. Lemme go for a closeup here. I'm gonna try not to blind you. I just wanted to show you the rocker switch here.
That's going to let you turn the light on and off, obviously, but this can also be wired to an interior switch if you wanted to do that. This has a frosted plastic lens, so that's gonna be less likely to shadow than a glass lens. Lemme go ahead and put a ruler up to this for you. So looking at the overall length, line that up there for you, looks like we're sitting pretty close to 9 1/4 inches. The width, about 3 3/4 inches.
The thickness might be kind of tricky to show you. Maybe about one and 5/8 inches or so. So this is a surface mount dome light, so it's gonna be incredibly easy to install as an upgrade or a replacement of your existing light. To access the bolt holes, you're just going to pull the lens up and away from the housing, and you don't want to use any tools to remove the lens as it could potentially crack. And then you're just gonna bolt the housing itself onto the ceiling or the wall or the cabinet before reinstalling the lens. Mounting hardware is not included, so you would have to supply that on your own. Obviously, this is going to be a two-wire design, and the white is gonna be ground, the black's gonna be power. 12-volt system, black trim. I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today.
