Is It Safe To Use A Weight Distribution Hitch That's Overrated For Your Trailer
Hi Stephen, If your weight distribution hitch is overrated for the tongue weight of the trailer then it will over-distribute the weight and start lifting both the trailer tongue and rear of the tow vehicle up. You'll notice handling issues while towing and the stiffer spring bars will be harder to get mounted to the frame brackets. To size your weight distribution hitch you'll want to first fully load your trailer like you would if you were going camping and then measure the tongue...

Amp Draw of Optronics LED RV Step Area Light
Hello Ron, The Optronics LED RV Step Area Light # ILL86CB draws a paltry 0.25 amps because it's an LED, so very, very little power is needed. As for a light that mounts horizontally and shines down, the only option we have is 0.107 amp draw Optronics LED RV Step Area Light # ILL85CB.

We do have a few different options for you! If you are wanting an exact replacement then it looks like you currently have the Command LED Courtesy Light # 328-002-04W. For a few different styles we have the Optronics # ILL85CB and # ILL86CB which are both designs that shine down. We do sell the part # ILL86CB which is the version of the black LED Oval Interior/Exterior Light # ILL86BCB but it is in white. This is the same as the part ILL86CBP that you referenced. I was unable to find any part numbers related to the chrome ILL86CCBP that you referenced though.
