Hi, everybody. Andy here with eTrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this FrontRunner Slat to Crossbar Conversion End Cap Kit. Now, these four end caps will let you convert your platform rack slats into roof rack crossbars. These are going to prevent water and dust from entering the slats, and they're also going to provide a nice, clean look for your crossbars. These are made of polypropylene.
And just to give you some overall measurements, looking at the overall length, we're sitting right at about three and five eighths inches long. Looking at the width, we're sitting right about seven eighths of an inch wide. And then looking at the depth, it looks like we're sitting right at about thirteen sixteenths of an inch deep. These weigh about 2.8 ounces. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today.
I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
The slats fit perfectly, however, they don’t stay in. Which is why I have to keep ordering more. I’ve decided to add an adhesive to the slats this round. Hopefully that keeps them in place.
It fits.

The front Runner end caps work well but keeping them in has been an issue. I added an adhesive to the caps to keep them in place. That has worked well for me.
