Bought these to replace shorter bars when I moved to a bigger, wider truck. They hold my RTT just fine and have the same great Yakima quality I have come to trust over the decades.

Absolutely love the rack system. We also attached a cargo basket up on the crossbars. Very useful, greatly increases our cargo capacity for camping trips.
These aerodynamic racks are strong and quiet and work perfectly with the adjustable supports. The T-slots allow several accessory items to be installed bith above and below the crossbars. Love them.
I have been a loyal customer of e-trailer for several years, having purchased multiple items in the past with satisfactory results. Unfortunately, this recent purchase has been a disappointing experience.
I ordered a cross-bar kit for my 2023 Honda Pilot, specifically this kit: which is supposed to be compatible with my vehicle.
Upon receiving my order, I noticed that the crossbar box indicated the need for the "HD Bar SL adapter" when used with the Timberline Towers. However, this essential part was not included in the order, rendering the crossbar kit unusable for my vehicle due to the missing parts.
After calling customer service on two separate occasions, they have not been able to acknowledge that the kit should have included the required parts and therefore have not resolved their error by shipping the required parts. I will be returning the entire order and will take my business elsewhere.
Nice to have attachment points on crossbars but stopped using due to wind resistance on Kayaks caused base clips to come loose.
The Yakima products are doing great. Just got home yesterday from a 18 day trip using them in Michigan's upper peninsula. Love them. Great products. Thanks again.
We purchased the rack 5 weeks in advance of our up and coming trip. (Rack is amazing FYI). However, The website states free shipping over a certain amount. Weeks went by with notifications nothing was sent and the order kept being pushed back.
Once I called I was told those who chose to purchase shipping vs opting for the free shipping got their orders firsts; everyone else fell to the bottom. After waiting a month for “free shipping” I opted to have paid shipping and I received the rack within days.
While this company has many products I could use, I refuse to use them again because what is advertised is NOT what they ethically hold themselves accountable too.

2018 Ford Expedition
I ordered the Yakima roof rack for a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq. I went with the heavy duty one for extra strength but it is quite a bit thicker, likely increasing wind noise. So I might have chosen the aerodynamic lighter weight one if I was to do it again. Also, I needed to get larger bolts for my kayak holder to get around the crossbar. The instructions and video on website were very helpful but they did not explain well how to adjust the toe and pitch. For the toe adjustment, you have to push the metal post with the tool before tightening. That was not obvious. For the pitch, it helped to do that once the towers are attached to crossbar. Then you can tilt tower while cross bar is laying flat (upside down). I ended up having to add tilt on both front and back crossbars for them to be flat when installed. Website said only front one would need to be pitched. I am very pleased with the look and sturdiness of the product. My Hyundai Dealer had zero options for this car.

My local vendor here in Hawaii had everything I needed for my rack install except 2 pairs of the Yakima HD Crossbars. Due to supply chain issues, it was unknown when the would come in. etrailer to the rescue. HD bars we’re in stock. Site navigation, price, checkout, and shipping were excellent. Yakima OverHaul HD is built tough, sturdy, light but heave duty, well designed, easy to install and remove by leaving the locking base on the track. The height can be adjusted easily to a desired height to fit just right. The "bonus" is a beer bottle opener on each rail :)

Just what I needed to mount my yakima tent. The HD crossbars are really well made and the service from etrailer is top notch.
Very well engineered product. Goes together like an erector set for the adventurous. That includes attachments and accessories as well. The total kit was for a 2026 Honda Ridgeline with a Diamondback SE bed cover.
Very strong and love the tie point at the ends of the bar.
