Driving with bars overhead can mean wind noise—but these aero-style crossbars are shaped to keep that in check. The rubber strips along the top channel are split down the middle, sealing around accessories and cutting down on vibration and whistling. The result is smoother airflow and a quieter ride at highway speeds.
This rack is ready for whatever adventure you’ve got planned. Haul kayaks in the summer, skis in the winter, or mount a cargo box for long road trips. The bars accept both channel-mount and clamp-on attachments, so your existing gear or new accessories fit right in without extra adapters.
Some racks make you cut rubber strips just to mount gear. These don’t. The split design lets you slide accessories directly into the top channels—no trimming required. Once mounted, the strips close up around the hardware to help seal against wind and weather while keeping things neat.
You can add Thule’s One-Key System locks (sold separately) to secure both the rack and channel-mounted gear with a single key. It’s an easy upgrade for peace of mind when your vehicle is parked at campgrounds, trailheads, or hotel lots between drives.

One year in, this fit kit and the whole system have worked very well on my Kia EV6.
I miss the simplicity, in terms of cost as well as installation and removal, of the old Thule rectangular-bar racks, but this system looks better, is quiet, won't sag, and seems more robust.
Directions were easy to follow and I was able to put the rack on my 2024 Lexus RXh in about 30 minutes.
Initially I was worried that I good not get a good Roof Rack configuration to match my 2022 Kia Telluride. When I asked etrailer for some assistance on the configuration, Jon was quick to reply with an excellent solution. He definitely knew the products. Unfortunately, my initial shipment was damaged but Gwen and team quickly got me replacements in the mail. I have received and installed all components and couldn't be more satisfied.
This "fit kit" from THULE does not impress me much. It does not sit flush with the roof rails of my 2021 Toyota highlander, doesn't really line up with the openings on the flush mount rails, and only attaches to the vehicle via one bolt at each of the 4 mounting locations. In that sense it's inferior to even the OEM toyota roof rack mount.

Excellent service. I called etrailer and they were able to match the key for my old Thule box to the new key cylinders for this rack. They gave no guarantees, but they somehow made it happen quickly!
I received the Thule kit I needed. UPS had a hiccup in shipping BUT William and E Trailer issued a big credit towards shipping costs

Niiiiiice! Is what we say when we see the car now. The roof rack is well built. Instructions were easy- the letter specification to tighten the rack were a bit much. We had to adjust based on how things looked and jived with the car. Some soft cushion edging would not flush over the roof indentation edge, so we had to re-loosen and tighten the rack few times until all settled well. Bottom line, we wanted a solid rack that did not have overhang, did what it is suppose to, was low profile, and make the car look hot- check!!!! We are very happy! Best part about the entire experience however is etrailer. I swear, one might never need customer service or any help with their purchase, until they do. And what a customer service it is. Wow. It’s worth returning to etrailer for more business, purely because you want this business to do well and to remain in business and to show them how much we appreciate their excellent customer service.
One year in and it’s been great. Looks awesome, very functional, but I would recommend getting the windscreen as well. I didn’t want one, but if you have a sunroof and plan on using it, you’ll need the screen to avoid the noise. I haven’t maxed out the weight, but have put bikes, kayaks, and a roof box on with no issues. Would recommend 100%.
