I tried amazon, the internet and Yakima website along with all the bike rack stores in town and was unable to find this part. etrailer was the only place that had the part and it was exactly what I needed. I have used etrailer before and have had nothing but good experiences with them and their products.
I called Yakima and they were no help getting this part for me. I should have and from now on will contact etrailer first!

etrailer had just the right replacement part and saved the day. Yakima didn't have the replacement for the less than 1 year old part that broke, and honestly, I'm not happy with Yakima at all! The ratchet strap clip broke at the rivet that holds it to the tire cradle... its a $3 part at best. But etrailer had the part, and I am up and running again. Thanks for the incredibly fast shipping in a safe and secure box. You are my go to from now on for all my camper and outdoor rec needs!

flawless. It is an exact replacement part, and I cant find it through Yakima. I replaced the broken part with this, and hauled my bikes hundreds of miles
