Hello, neighbors, I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this replacement lock and cylinder for the UWS Tool Boxes with the square paddle handles only. So again, folks, this is gonna replace one damaged lock cylinder, comes with a set of two keys. This particular guy is key to number CH502. It includes one lock cylinder and two keys. You can see the engraving there, the CH502.
It is also engraved on the head of the unit as well. And again, the key simply inserts. It would move this locking mechanism here, open or close, depending on what you need. This retainer nut here, that's what you're gonna use to keep it tight when you have it installed in the tool box itself. I do wanna mention this does not work with the drawer slide, dog boxes, T-handles, or push-button locks.
Again, this only works with your square paddle handles UWS Tool Boxes. Well, folks, that's gonna do it for our look today at this replacement lock cylinder for your UWS Tool Boxes. Again, with the square paddle handles. I'm Steven, thanks so much for watching.
I ordered the keys and the replacement lock cylinder in case what I had didn't work with the keys.. but the keys work and if for some reason the original cylinder fails I have one to replace it. Received the items very quickly.. will definately order from you again!

THEY ARE THE CORRECT KEY, CH502, BUT WE ACTUALLY NEED THEM TO BE A BIT LONGER FOR THE BODY OF THE LOCK AND A BIT LONGER TAILPIECE. DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING?
Bought a used truck with a uws toolbox. Did not get a key for the toolbox and PO had either never installed the connecting rod between the latches or removed it on purpose.
Parts arrived as advertised. Took all of a minute to swap out the old lock for the new one. I could have just ordered a key, but I had no idea if the lock was in working condition. The new lock solidly locks the toolbox.
The rod connectors installed easily on the existing latch connecting rod and the set screws have a good seat on the rods. Set screws come with thread lock so no worries about them rattling loose.
I recently bought a pop up camper with an attached tool box. The tool box had the CH502 lock but it didn't work. I purchased the new set with keys, installed it myself in a couple minutes and now I can be comfortable leaving my camper with a locked tool box. Thank You etrailer...

At last I've been able to find something that got ordered, received, and fit. I tried go to the hardware store getting those generic cylinder locks that supposed to be universal, but every time there was some sort of modification required. These just fit! I put them in and was able to move on to the next job. Thanks.

I think you should be able to indicate if it's for a right hand or left hand swing door. Other than that they work great. I use these locks to replace ones on my dog trailer doors.
Product came in a timely manner. As I only needed the keys which work as they the lock fits but does not work with my latch without some modification which I expected.
The lock cylinders are pretty simple of an install its nice that i was able to get cylinders that were keyed the same as ones i already had to make all the locks use the same key.
This is the first time that a product was as simple to install and performed exactly as advertised. I would recommend this to all my friends. The price was exceptional and shipping was fast.

I was email that my order well be delayed by a few days then I got phone call on a Sunday about the same I was very inpressesd I also ask for the same keys vsia email and got a ansewer right a way great job
Was correct, key also worked in other truck locks, but the eccentric was different, will have to try to modify it to work.
