Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Thomas Payne replacement 12 volt seat heating pad. This is going to replace the seat heating pad element for your Thomas Payne RV theater seatings so that you can be nice and warm on those chilly days while you're inside your RV relaxing. Now, this is going to work for the Thomas Payne chairs without the power recline function. So if your Thomas Payne furniture does not have the power recline, this will work for you.
If you do have the power recline function, you will need a different heat unit that is going to require the part number that you see on the screen there. But if you do not have the power recline function, this is going to be exactly what you need, because this is a direct replacement from Lippert, the company that makes the Thomas Payne line, you can trust this is going to work for your Thomas Payne furniture. You're not going to have to worry about fit issues or compatibility problems. It's going to plug right in place of the original. It's going to give you that nice warm seat again.

Perfect replacement for our RV recliner
Perfect replacement for malfunctioning heating pad. It is working for now. We will see how long it lasts. I would have given five stars if instructions or a video showing how to intstall was available.
Lippert's warming pad (no way you can call this a heating pad). If you watch Lippert's video it shows replacing the pad via a zipper on the back of the cushion. Should be very straightforward. We have a Thomas Payne reclining theater seat which does not have the illustrated zipper. Called Lippert and was emailed a service bulletin on how to replace the pad by cutting the rear of the cushion, replacing the pad, and sewing up the incision. The original pad was somewhat difficult to remove because the padding had become attached to the pad through 4 years of use. After installation, I measured the temperature difference between the pad and non-pad area, which was about 20 degrees. I am going to replace the other seat's pad as well since I know how to do it. The lack of a zipper on our seating makes this a pain which we shouldn't have had to deal with. etrailer had the pad in stock and delivered in a timely manner. I've attached a photo of the faulty pad on removal

The heating pad never warmed up as much as the original and after a few months quit working all together. I wasted my money on this heating pad.
Excellent service and quick delivery
Same as original 354491. Works as expected. Little difficult to install from zipper under leg rest and separate white batting from yellow foam padding, where the heating pad is installed. Used pull string to install new wiring.
Super quick delivery
This was exactly what we needed to fix the heated seats in our 5th wheel trailer.
Item description said it would fit Thomas Payne recliner without power recline which is what mine is. The plug is totally different and does not work. Charging for return shipping for incorrect item is unreasonable but I have no choice.

After a year’s worth of use it is still working!
This started with a question to the tech. After diagnosis I ordered the part. The part was delivered in a reasonable time. Installation was not exactly as portrayed but was successful. Problem solved.
Easy to order and showed up early.
Looks like the OEM Pad with the exception of the connector. It was easy to change out from the old one. Shipped fast.

Still working after a year. I hope it will last longer than OEM which both have burned out. One during warranty and the other later in the year.
