Ensure that all your bikes are safely secured in the wheel hoops of your Swagman XTC Series rack by replacing a lost or damaged rubber strap. The rubber strap attaches to any wheel hoop on the XTC 2- or 4-bike rack.

Hey, everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at our replacement straps for your Swagman platform bike racks here at etrailer.com. We have this installed on our Swagman XTC TILT. But you can also check out our product page to see if it'll work with your bike rack. As long as they have straps and as long as they have the tabs there, this will work as a replacement part.
Maybe over time, you get some wear and tear of your strap, or it's been out in the sun a little bit too long, or exposed to the elements and it's tough and hard, that's when you replace your strap. So, you just take it off of its old tab, get your new strap. You can actually pick and choose which tab you want to use. I prefer on the inside so that I pull outwards and that's it. You we're able to replace your strap for your Swagman bike rack.
But if you have other parts that need replacing, we have those here at etrailer.com. I'm gonna show you how to install them as well as how to figure out what is the right part that you need. After five years of regular use, one of the straps broke. The replacement straps arrived just in time.
Although a very good strap for securing the wheels, they are a little tough to hook the tab. I am thinking the round tabs should be designed with a oval tab with a T shape slot design of the slots on the strap so then you could make the side length beefier as that is where ours have ripped. Bought extras for future breaks. Still works well when intact.
These straps were exactly what we needed. The regular updates on the status of my order was greatly appreciated.
There good but I had a broken strap and a missing bolt that holds cross bar on and I cant get anyone to send it when I bought it but straps I ordered are gd thanks

I just received my straps for my bike carrier and they are exactly what I needed and expected. They went on flawlessly.

Straps still performing perfectly btw theyve already lasted TWICE as long as the originals with no sign of fatigue. Quite honestly I now expect the straps to outlive the rest of the shoes!

Great! They perfectly replaced the ones I broke.
Lost a hook prior to one of the straps breaking after years of consist use. The hook was my fault, left it on the car bumper after removing the bikes. With both purchases etrailer was easy to use in finding the exact replacement parts at a reasonable price, shipping was quick and delivered on time. Was not sure about the bike rack when I purchased it given how affordable the swagman xtc-2 was, but after nearly seven years of steady use the rack is still going strong.
Needed new straps to keep bike on rack. The ones I received are perfect. Shipped quikly. Good quality.
