Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Firestone union connector for quarter-inch air line tubing. Now, this push-to-connect union fitting allows you to connect two quarter-inch air lines quickly and easily. This union will also provide a simple air line disconnect with no need to cut the line. This union connector includes two push-to-connect fittings, one on each end, for the Firestone quarter-inch air line tubing. Again, this part is for a quantity of one union connector, and the overall length on it end to end is right at one and a quarter inches. All these quick-connect air fittings are expensive for what they are, but they're super easy to use. These unions in particular are about as expensive as air fittings get, but you can make use of scrap air line that would've been useless before. You have to weigh the cost of the line vs. these fittings, however.

Cut the line square, and these things are fantastic. Super fast installation and zero leaks.

Working on the airbag suspension system on our RV, I need replacement hose and some couplers to replace a line that was leaking. The new line worked flawlessly, didn't need the couplers but will keep them in case of a roadside emergency.

Is There a Straight Connector for 1/4" Air Lines on the Air Lift 1000
Yes, you can use the Firestone Union Connector for 1/4" Tubing # F3079-1 to connect two 1/4" air lines quickly and easily. This will work for 1/4" airline regardless of if it is from Air Lift, Firestone or anyone else. This comes with 1 fitting, so you would need to order 1 for each set of lines you are wanting to connect.

Air Line Union Connector for 1/4 Inch Air Line Tubing
We certainly do! You'll need part # F3079-1 which is a Firestone part, but it's also compatible with the 1/4 inch air tubing used with by Air Lift air helper spring kits as well. Like any of the air line push-connectors, a good leak free connection depends on the air line cut being perfectly square. Use a sharp utility knife or a dedicated tubing cutter like # AL10530, as snips or docks will partially crush the tubing resulting in leaks.

The size of air tubing that comes with the Firestone Ride Rite kit part # F2299 is 1/4 inch. For 30 feet # F9416. If you need to connect two cut tubes together you can use the union connector part # F3079-1 as well.

When using the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs Part # F4136 on your 2015 Toyota Prius you should not have to add air on a regular basis. I sometimes see a slight pressure loss when it goes from hot outside to cold and you'll have to add a bit to get it back to pressure similar to the way a tire on a vehicle fluctuates up and down slightly with weather. Justin, sorry to hear about all of the issues you're having. I don't see any real remedy for the situation other than to just replace the air line with the Replacement 1/4" Hose with Fittings for Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # FWR17600048 and the push to connect connector # F3079-1.
