Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Erickson aluminum ramp ends for two inch by 12 inch boards for a quantity of two. Now, these are aluminum loading ramp plates, which can quickly convert two eight foot long two by 12 boards into an inexpensive loading ramp set to roll your ATV or snowblower or even your lawnmower into your truck bed or on a trailer. Basically, bolting these end plates onto two by twelves is a great way to get your wheel equipment to the shop or another location. And it is best used with eight foot long planks, so you don't exceed a 30 degree load angle.
Now, of course, the wood is not included. You would have to supply that. What is included is everything here on the table, the two 1/4 inch thick plates and the hardware to install it, the two non-skid pads right here, and then the two safety strap D-rings and hardware. Load capacity is 750 pounds per pair. Basically, your wood will attach right here.
The holes are there. Use the hardware that's included. And then on the underside of the lip, you'll take the included skid pads as an adhesive backing that you can install right on there. So when you do install that onto the edge of your trailer or your truck bed, it keeps it from moving. And then they also include the D-rings with the hardware.
The D-rings you would apply to your wood to where you could attach your safety straps to. A few dimensions on this. Width of it's 11 and 1/4 inches. Length, one end to the other, eight and 1/4 inches wide, or long. But that should do it for the review on the Erickson aluminum ramp ends for two inch by 12 inch boards.

Exactly what I wanted and was delivered at expected time. Needed shorter ramps, so these will fit right on a board. A lot cheaper than ramps.
Looks just as I had expected. Only wish I had noticed it didn't come as a pair as I intended to use it for a ramp to move a lawn mower into an elevated shed and one doesn't allow me to accomplish that task.
I needed to move around some gardening/snow equipment. This works great , is a solid piece and I recommend it.
the ramp end seems like it will work. only disappointed that the 2 carriage bolts were not included and i had to make a special trip to the hardware store for hardware

Only problem with this item is that the sticker on it is ridiculously difficult to remove, self destructs into a million little sticky paper pieces. I bought three and simply left the sticker on the other ones for mother nature because they were such a pain to remove.
Otherwise, these were part of a large order that came quickly, nicely packed and at a great price.

Please make sure that you read the whole thing carefully. I thought I was getting one pair of ramps. It say that they are good for loading your atv, lawn mower, etc. Whoever heard of only one ramp to load a atv or lawn mower. Very disappointed
These are exactly as advertised and appear sturdy and well made.
Depending on height of tailgate this may be the wrong choice... It was for me
Bolted this to the end of a 2X10 to get my scooter up on my trailer. Attached some bungee straps to keep the ramp in place and it all works great. I've loaded and unloaded the scooter several times and never had a problem. I'd reccommend this ramp for anyone with a smaller motorcycle or scooter. I have a Honda Reflex scooter.

I attached two ramp ends to two 2"x12"x10' boards with 3/8" carriage bolts and drilled through each ramp end into the pickup bed to pass a 1/2" carriage bolt through to keep the ramp from hopping. Using a portable electric wench, I easily pulled a heavy snow thrower up into the pickup and strapped it into the bed along with the two ramps. Easy work for an old fellow not wanting to strain anything.
