Your high-pressure propane components need a hose between their 3/8" male flare fittings. This 25' hose joins those connections and gives you room to position the components farther apart.

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at this MEC 25-foot-long propane hose. That's right folks. When you need to connect with a regulator or an appliance, but those components are separated by a long distance, most likely the main run of your camper RV, this will give you that 25-foot of flexible hose. You'll be able to make that connection and have plenty left over or just barely make that connection.
Who knows, depending on your length So we do make this in different lengths, so we offer it rather in different lengths. So if it's too long, we have different options available for you as well. So on this particular hose, both ends are going to be a 3/8-inch female swivel flare. So I'll try to pop one of them over a little closer for you. Basically, the swivel flare just means that this can turn with the wrench so you're not turning the whole hose.
And as you know, with flare connections, the seal is created where the mating flare surfaces come together when you tighten it. So there's no need for thread tape or sealant on those connections. That being said, anytime I make a propane connection, I make sure I test it for gas leaks. I highly recommend you do that as well. If you don't have some, pick some up separately here at etrailer.
We do sell and carry a gas leak detection solvent. It comes in a little bottle, put the applicator brush on there, check for bubbles, make sure there's no bubbles. Now, the hose itself is a thermoplastic design. It has fully crimped brass ferrules. On the end, this is rated for 350 PSI working pressure.
It is UL and CGA-approved as well. So once again, folks, 25-foot, we do carry these in multiple lengths, and we do have them with different ends on them as well if that's something you need as well. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching and have a great day.
