  • 3 Feet Long
  • 1/4 Inch - MIF
  • Type 1 - Female

Pigtail makes the connection from the propane tanks on your trailer to the propane regulator on your trailer. Check valve prevents backflow leakage and is suitable for dual-tank setups. Stainless Steel overbraiding protects hose from damage.

Features:

  • Propane pigtail connects your propane cylinder to a regulator
    • Used for single or dual tank setups on the front of your travel trailer
  • Female Type 1 fitting connects to the valve on your propane cylinder
  • Male Inverted flare connects to a propane regulator
  • Built-in bypass mode shuts gas off when flow reaches maximum capacity for safety
    • Thermal shut-off device turns off gas flow in extreme heat caused by open flame
    • Excess-flow safety device limits gas flow in the event of a severe leak
  • Stainless steel overbraid protects the hose from damage
  • Durable thermoplastic hose and brass fittings approved for LP gas only
    • Rated for high pressure and high flow rate to handle unregulated propane
    • UL569 and ANSI Z21-81 certified
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Temperature range: -40 F to 140 F
  • Hose dimensions: 36" long x 1/4" inner diameter
  • Hose fittings:
    • Type 1 tank connection
    • 1/4" Male inverted flare
  • Maximum pressure rating: 350 psi
  • Maximum flow capacity: 450,000 Btu per hour
  • 1-Year limited warranty

Bypass Mode for Safety

This Type 1 connector will go into bypass mode if the flow rate surpasses the maximum flow capacity for this connector, which is 450,000 Btu per hour. A ball inside of the fitting will push an internal spring down, pressing firmly against the bottom of the fitting to shut off the flow of gas.

When choosing a Type 1 connector, consider your overall propane demands and choose a connector with a flow rate that just exceeds it. That way, you won't trigger the bypass mode during normal use, but it will trigger in the event of a leak. If the bypass valve engages, stop using gas and start checking your connections for leaks.

  • Replacement Propane Hose Pigtail for Connecting Regulator and Propane Tank on Camper
I looked up the hose and the regulator you currently have, and found that the GHA7 hose uses an ACME Nut connector to the LP tank and a 1/4 inch male inverted flare that connects to the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter used on the regulator. We offer the necessary pigtails in many lengths for rubber hose, you can use # 37207-30755 for a 2 foot length, # 37207-30775 for a 3 foot length or # CAM59183 for a 4 foot length. If you'd prefer braided steel hose for durability, use part # 100833-24 for a 2...

  • How To Determine If MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail 100833-36 Fits 2020 Cherokee Wolf Pup 16FQ
I would be happy to help, but unfortunately I have no way of determining which size propane line is installed on your 2020 Cherokee Wolf Pup 16FQ. The MB Sturgis Propane Pigtail # 100833-36 you were looking at uses a 1/4" male inverted flare to connect to the trailer, so you will need to verify that your trailer has a 1/4" female inverted flare fitting. Using the above hose will give you a Type 1 cylinder connection to connect a standard propane tank to. If you find your trailer uses...

  • Needing 36 Inch Braided Acme to 1/4 Male Flare Propane Supply Pigtail
The black and the green knobs on the pigtail are known as ACME connectors. The ACME connector has a safety feature that shuts off the flow of gas at a certain flow level. The black and dark green knobs fit the same thread size, but the black are connectors are rated for 70,000-100,000 Btu per hour. The dark green are rated for 450,000-500,000 Btu per hour. • Pigtail Hose for Use with Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator CAM59005
In general it is best to use the shortest suitable length of hose for just about any propane application since a shorter hose means less potential for pressure loss. To connect two tanks to the Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator # CAM59005 you could use a pigtail as short as the 15-inch MB Sturgis # 100833-15 or the 3-foot # 100833-36, both shown on the linked page.
