Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement center plow shoe assembly for your Boss snow plow. It is for a quantity of one shoe. Now this is designed to replace a center shoe assembly on your Boss snow plow. This is comparable to the Boss part number MSC01570.
It is designed to mount to the bottom of the blade so that the cutting edge can safely travel over uneven surfaces. This will help reduce wear and tear on the cutting edge to help extend its life. If you notice, it does include multiple washers here and then, at the very bottom, a one and a half inch long large spacer so that you can adjust the height of the shoe using those items. This will easily install and it removes including this keeper pin right here on the top that you'll just flip open, slide it out. Once you install it, put it back in, clip it closed.
It is constructed of a heavy duty steel for durability. Extra thick base on it offers long lasting performance. And it resists corrosion, it has a nice black powder coat finish on it. This part is made in the USA. Now the diameter of the base right here is five and a half inches.
The shaft length, which is measured from this center of the pinhole up here to the top of the base, six and a half inches, the shaft itself is one inch diameter.
