Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this replacement angle cylinder for your Fisher hydraulic V-Plow Snowplow. Now, this is a replacement double-acting angle cylinder for a Fisher snowplow. So if your original angle cylinder is worn out, maybe it's leaking, this one is designed to step in and do the same job. Now, this is going to be comparable to the Fisher part number that you see there on your screen, 56709, so this is gonna be a solid match in terms of function and fit. And what this cylinder does is control the side to side movement of the plow blade.
The rod's going to extend and retract inside the cylinder to angle the blade left or right. That's gonna let you push snow off the road instead of straight ahead. Because it's double-acting, it has dual hydraulic ports here and here, which means it's going to use hydraulic pressure to both push and pull, so you're going to get strong, controlled movement in both directions. As far as sizing goes, this has a 10-inch stroke with an extended length. Of course, I can't show you that extended length, but when this is fully extended, measuring center pinhole to center pinhole, it's gonna be right at about 27 5/16 inches.
I am gonna try to show you the retracted length since that's what I'm set at right now. So again, center to center, about 17 5/16 inches. This is built to handle serious work with a maximum pressure rating of 2,500 PSI. The cylinder itself has a two-inch bore. The rod on the active end measures 1.5 inches in diameter, which is gonna help with strength and durability.
The base end is two inches in diameter and the pinhole diameter is one inch. So this is gonna line up with standard mounting hardware. The hydraulic connections are number six SAE ports, set at a 90 degree angle for clean hose routing. I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. If you happen to have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Quick delivery, perfect condition, fits and works.
I ordered two angle pistons for my plow and they fit perfectly. The best price I found as well. Thank you!
Everything ordered came as promised on time
I boiught two pistons. On the piston end of one of them the 1" pin wouldn't go through so had to ream it out with a 1" drill bit. Not a deal breaker but something I shouldn't have needed to do. If you check some of the older fisher pistons they use an O ring JIC right angle fitting and the original fisher hoses have a much tighter 90 degreee swivel elbow. I had to orient the pistons so the hole into the piston faces outward as there was not enough room to get the new hoses I have (1/4" IP thread) installed between the side of the piston and the plow frame. My hoses came with a wider 90 degree elbow.
Very good quality, fair price but the customer service and free shipping is outstanding!
I had to purchase an adapter to connect the cylinder. I had to do this for the last cylinder I bought.
