Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at these replacement mounting bolts for your Western snowplow cutting edge. Now this is going to replace ten two-inch long by 1/2-inch in diameter mounting bolts, and nylon lock nuts for the cutting edge on your Western snowplow. Let me retrieve my ruler here and just to confirm that measurement. So looking at the length of the bolt, we're sitting at two inches, and the diameter might be kind of tricky for you to see, but that diameter is 1/2 an inch. And these are made here in the USA.
The thread size is a 1/2 an inch by 13 UNC, and these are grade five bolts. So if you are needing to replace the 10 carriage bolts and nylon lock nuts for the cutting edge on the Western snowplow, these are gonna be just what you need. Although took a little, (weather affected) blades are in but UPS failed to drop off Mounting Bolts ( 2 sets of 10 ). My present intentions are to contact you shortly referencing same. Otherwise I wish to Mark it 5 STARS.
Great product
The bolts are good quality. However they are 1/2 inch bolts, and were to small for the western pro series plow. they require a 5/8 bolt. A quick trip to the local hardware store and problem solved. I will also note that this was my first time installing a cutting edge on this plow. I used the listing assuming they would fit. Something I should have checked firsthand before ordering.
Fit my 8' Western perfectly. Now it just needs to snow!
