Hi everybody. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our ARB single motor onboard air compressor with an included one gallon tank for the Jeep Wrangler JLs. Now folks, this fits 2018 through the current year Jeep Wrangler JL, so make sure you're double checking our website here and the fit guide to make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now one thing to note is that this is gonna get installed underneath your Jeep seat, so it's gonna be some drill required, most likely per the instructions, but it's gonna also act like a thermal protection on the motor as well in the compressor for extreme temperatures and those kinda things. So it's a nice little, kind of include a thing there.
Now, the onboard compressor that you run your air lockers or air up your tires, the air tank here holds one gallon of air providing you air to actuate those air lockers. Now that tank will mount underneath the Jeep itself. Now the compressor itself and the mounting brackets here that go under the seat, I've got it all kind of mocked up here. You've got your on, off switch. You can air up something, you know, like an accessory with an included adapter there, port rather.
And that's the compressor, the single compressor there. Has a duty cycle of 50%, max airflow of 3.08 CFMs, and a max pressure of 100 PSI. Runs on 12 volts. The max amp draw is only 32 amps. The compressor itself is about 7 1/2 inches long by 3 15/16 wide and about 5 3/4 inches in depth or tall.
This whole unit only weighs about seven or eight pounds, somewhere in that range. And again, the mounting hardware here, I've got all mocked up. So keep in mind, you're gonna have more than what you just see on the table. I'll throw an image up of everything you're gonna get with this kit. You got the mounting brackets, the tank, the compressor, the wiring, all the hardware, the airlines and everything.
Some of the things that you're not seeing picture there that are on my table that are included are some of these braided airlines. They give you a couple of these. You may not use everything that comes in this kit. Keep in mind it is a kit and as most kits are, you know, you may have extra stuff that fits different vehicles and not the specific one. So follow the instructions, make sure you're getting it installed correctly the first time. So here's a closeup of the wiring harness that comes with this particular unit. Lots of connector there. Don't be frightened by it. It's all just plug and play, no splicing required. Now that being said, there are some ring terminals here for grounding and those kind of things and inline relay and some different connector adapters as needed. The tank itself, as you can see nicely welded here, it's got the bracket underneath it as well. So it'd be mounted something like this, most likely under the Jeep or possibly this way or this way depending on again, your specific space, your specific needs and wants. Now this does have a built-in safety valve to keep the unit from building up too much pressure. And the inline fuse is gonna prevent the unit from overloading or short circuiting. Again, you're gonna get all the hardware, plumbing parts, electrical components, all that kind of stuff for install. Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. This is the ARB single motor onboard air compressor with one gallon tank for the Jeep Wrangler JLs. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
