Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the MAXTRAX MKII Recovery Boards in the blaze yellow color, and it is for a quantity of two boards. Now, these recovery boards will provide you traction when your tires are bogged down in snow, sand, or mud. It has these rows of these traction teeth, which will provide a surface that your tires can grip onto to pull the vehicle out of a messy situation. A few measurements on this. On each board, the length is gonna be 45 inches long, the width 13 inches wide, and the overall height from the bottom to the top of the teeth about 2-5/8 inches tall, and the weight per board is about 7-1/2 pounds.
Now, I did wanna zoom in a little bit closer here. So you can see it is a fiber reinforced nylon construction, so it makes these boards lightweight and strong. It is a UV stable material so it won't fade or degrade in the sun, and it's light enough to easily haul in and out of your vehicle, but it is heavy duty enough to bear the full weight of the vehicle without any braking. Also, what's nice if I flip it over on this end and then actually on each end, you'll see it says shovel and an arrow pointing to the end here and same on the other end. Basically, you can use the ends of these boards as a shovel.
And if you notice, it has these built-in glove-friendly handles and the included leashes that you can attach to there, they'll let you easily pull the boards out of any sludge after use. It does have key holes. You can see two on this end, two on the other end, and those key holes will allow you to mount to your vehicle using the MAXTRAX mounting pins or the rear wheel harness, which we do sell separately on our website. The color again on this you can see is a nice bright glaze yellow color. It also is available in many other colors.
