Features to know about

Set Up in Minutes - No Pump Wrestling Required

The days of manually inflating an air mattress and waking up on a half-deflated bed are over. Just unzip the duffel bag, plug it in, and let the self-deploying frame do the work. The built-in pump inflates the mattress in under 4 minutes - so by the time you've grabbed your blanket and kicked off your shoes, your bed is ready.

Sleep Like You're at Home

Unlike floor-level air mattresses, this elevated design gives you the comfort and accessibility of a real bed. Whether you're setting up a guest room, or prepping for a road trip, this bed ensures a restful night - so you (or your guests) wake up refreshed and ready for the day.

Adjust the Firmness to Your Liking

Not all air mattresses are created equal, especially when it comes to comfort. With plush, medium, and firm settings, you can choose the level of support that works for you. Whether you prefer a soft sleep surface or extra back support, the air-coil system ensures even weight distribution all night.

Durable Design for Long-Lasting Comfort

Sleep with confidence knowing that the puncture-resistant polyester top and reinforced seams keep the mattress firm and supportive all night. No more worrying about slow leaks or waking up in a sinking middle section.

Packs Down for Easy Travel & Storage

Packed dimensions

When it's time to pack up, the built-in pump deflates the mattress in seconds. The entire setup folds neatly into the included rolling duffel bag, making it easy to store in a closet or transport for your next trip.

Video Transcript for Ivation EZ-Bed: The Air Mattress That Sets Itself Up

Hey everyone, I'm Evangeline here at etrailer and today we have the Ivation EZ-beds. These are some pretty cool self-inflating mattresses that have their own bed frame. So whether you've seen these on the internet or you saw a friend that set theirs up in literally two minutes and now you have questions about this on whether this is the right fit for you, well, hopefully this video will help you out. Now, here at etrailer, we really focus on helping people journey better since there's plenty of content on these mattresses, what we're gonna focus on today, is just figuring out the differences between the features or which sizes might be a better fit for you and wherever you're going. Also, there have been some questions that came up on these mattresses over the years, so we're gonna address some of those here today. Now, if you have your own story about these, whether you have one of your own that you really, really like, or maybe you realize that it wasn't quite the fit for the type of adventures you're going on, well, share your story here on our website.

Let's get to it. First off, what options do you have You can go as small as a twin size up to full size, up to queen size, and as large as a king size mattress. You also have the option of getting it with the deflate defender or without the deflate defender. The deflate defender simply is a secondary pump that keeps your mattress inflated throughout the night, slightly pricier, but it's a feature a lot of people care about. They all come with their own carrying case that makes this look a lot like a suitcase.

Good canvas material outside, plenty of easy to use zippers. You have a handle on one end, wheels at the other that allows you to roll this in and out of your cabin, your hotel room, or your guest bedroom with ease. So picture this, you're ready for a good night's sleep, so you go ahead and grab your mattress. I have this all set up just to show the three different stages your mattress will be in, compact, unzipped, and then fully inflated. Now, a common question we get from people is how long does it actually take So get ready to stick around for a minute or two.

So we're going to do a quick little run through of how long it actually takes to unzip this, set it up and fully inflate it. Now I have my stopwatch right here, so we'll see how long it actually takes. Are you ready Get set, go. What I've learned is to make sure to put the bag with the logo facing the wall outlet and completely unzipping the bag. That way when you plug it in, this mattress will do all the work on its own.

It will automatically extend as it inflates setting up the bed frame. You really don't have to do any other work yourself. In fact, as it inflates, you yourself don't really need to check for firmness because the mattress will shut off automatically on its own once it's reached that desired setting. (machine beeping) All done, it automatically shuts itself off. And we are at 2:53 and that includes the long time it took for me to unzip the whole thing. Very straightforward, you unzip the mattress, plug it in, and it inflates very quickly. For me, it took about three minutes to set everything up, but in all reality, depending on different factors like elevation or the size of the air mattress or what setting you have it set to, the correct answer is it shouldn't take more than four minutes to fully inflate. With that being said, for lots of people, that's all they may need to know. For myself though, as a huge proponent of good sleep health, I need more information like how comfortable is it really Is it stable, sturdy, durable, things like that. So let's talk about the coils that create that stability. This has up to over 50 internal air coils to create an even weight distribution, and it's definitely gonna be taller than your regular mattress. So combine those internal springs, the PVC material, and you can support up to 600 pounds of weight on top of here. And when you measure from the ground to the top of the mattress, that's gonna be 22 or 24 inches of height depending on which mattress you have. While it's cool to be up and off the ground, in all reality, the biggest perk to this design is that it's gonna be a lot more natural. Rather than having to crouch down onto your cot or your sleeping pad, this is gonna be a lot easier just to sit on, to lay down on. And then when you wake up, you can start off on the right foot and supporting the mattress is this metal frame. And a common question we've seen is that people are concerned that the feet aren't always touching the ground. And the reason for that is because this actually adjusts up and down. So as you roll over, you sit on the mattress or you lay on it, this will adjust to some extent with you. Now, all of that information about support and being comfortable and things like that, like my own personal air mattress at home says the exact same things. What makes this a little different is that if you've ever slept on an air mattress, you know that the mattress you first sleep on is not the same one you wake up on. That one is usually a lot flatter, but when you look at the deflate defender mattresses in the EZ-bed line, you'll notice that there's a secondary feature to help address that common complaint. So when your mattresses deflate strain at night, a secondary pump will turn on that will bring your mattress back up to the comfort level that you had set in the first place. And this is a very quiet secondary pump for those who always ask. So I'm talking right here with the microphone to my face To hear the pump, we have to bring the microphone all the way over here and bringing it back to me, you can barely hear the mattress pump again. We've covered a lot of great, awesome features. What are the downsides of this mattress Well, the first thing is definitely gonna be price. With all these features, you do have to pay a bit more than you would for your regular old air mattress. Now, it does have the durability, the construction, to make that initial investment worth it or last longer. But it is definitely a question of do you really need this for your adventures And that's gonna be the second downside. I personally do a lot of car keeping and a lot of minimalist hiking. So this right here isn't gonna be the best fit for me 'cause this is the full size mattress. It isn't even as large as the king and it's larger than most of the backpacks I bring for my adventures. So that's just something to be honest with yourself about with. If you wanna go car camping, we have plenty of mattresses that are designed specifically to fit inside SUVs or inside trucks for those very specific adventures. But for every other situation, maybe you're going on a family trip and you're all staying in a spot and you wanna bring a reliable mattress or you have a guest bedroom and you wanna make sure you have a quick and easy solution, that's where the EZ-beds come in. Now I'm definitely ready to upgrade my own spare air mattress, and this is the one I've been keeping an eye on, especially the one with the deflate defender function because I like that secondary air pump to make sure we're comfortable all throughout the night. With that being said, here's some tips and tricks. A lot of people get mattress toppers to go on top of this, and that's nothing against the actual mattress because in all reality, this is just the base. I personally would be putting sheets on this anyways, and a lot of people have their own level of comfort that they're expecting, and that's the plush comfort that you get with a mattress topper that fits you. So with that in mind, think about if you need a mattress topper and make sure to get the right sheets for this mattress and way you can keep your mattress staying fresh longer, really protecting your investment for the long term. And that way you can enjoy many good years of good night's rest. But today, this was a look at the Ivation EZ-bed self-inflating air mattresses here at etrailer. My name is Evangeline and I hope you enjoyed this journey.
