  • Can I Connect Renogy 200W Solar Panels To BioLite BaseCharge Power Stations?
Yes, Liam, both BaseCharge models (600w # BL23ZR and 1500w # BL83ZR are compatible with standard 12V solar panels. You’ll just need BioLite’s MC4-to-HPP adapter cable # BL49ZR to connect your Renogy panels. The 600+ accepts up to 200W solar input, while the 1500+ can take up to 400W for faster recharging. Your 200W setup will work great for either. BioLite does have their own 100W solar kit # BL97ZR if you ended up going this route instead. Do you plan to use this on a camping trip or what?

  • Can BioLite BaseCharge Power Station Be Charged With Car 12v Cigarette Outlet Or Solar?
Yes, Ben, you can charge it from your vehicle using the BioLite 12V charging cable # BL59ZR or another compatible cable. The 600+ # BL23ZR will take longer than wall charging (about 6–8 hours from 12V), so topping it off while you’re on the road works great. Same applies to the 1500w # BL83ZR, just expect a longer full-charge time because of its larger capacity. You can also use solar panels to charge it like with the BioLite Portable 100-Watt Solar Panel # BL97ZR. If using another type...
