Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Carr Super Hoop custom-fit aluminum side step. Now, we offer this step as either a single step as you see here on my table, or as a pair. So whichever quantity is gonna work best for you, just take the appropriate part number that you see there on your screen, pop it in the search field over on our website, that will take you to the quantity that you're looking for and you can add if you order. Now, this is designed to fit the 2009 to current RAM trucks and also the 2009 Sterling Bullet.
And the RAM trucks that this is going to fit, it's a wide range, and so what you definitely wanna do is go through our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer, pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle, and then our fit guide will confirm if this step will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, this is a stylish, heavy-duty step that's designed to make getting in and out of your truck a whole lot easier. This step has a wide flat platform with non-slip diamond tread, so you're gonna feel stable and secure even in wet or muddy conditions. And this uses a rugged hoop style design that's going to give you truck a tough off-road look, but it's also very practical. This does have the mount, the multi-mount system that's going to let these steps attach directly to the rocker panels, and the mounting heads can rotate so you can dial in the perfect fit for your specific vehicle.
And installation is going to be pretty straightforward. You're gonna get all the hardware that you need to get this installed on your truck, along with instructions to guide you through that installation process. As for durability, this step is built to last. It is built from rust rust-proof cast aluminum alloy, and this has an XK3 Khromezone finish, and that description kind of describes it, it's like a chrome-like finish. It's a double powder coat that's going to give a sleek high-end finish, but it also helps protect against wear and corrosion.
It's not a polished finish per se, like some of the previous steps from Carr have been. This is more of a muted finish, still has a shine to it. It's more of a dull finish rather than a polished. But I think it's gonna hold up really well. I think it looks great, and I think it's going to look very attractive no matter what color or style of truck that you have that this is going to fit on.
This is incredibly strong. It gives you up to 500 pounds of support. Going back overhead real quick. Line that up. Let me see if I can give you some measurements. The overall length, we're sitting pretty close to 20 inches, just end to end. The platform that you're actually going to step on is pretty close to 17 inches long, and the width right, about five inches. And then this is going to give you about a six inch drop. Now, if you happen to have any other questions about these steps or anything that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. One final note, if you want help with the installation, we've got you covered. On this product page, underneath the photo section, we have a link that will take you to our installer locator. Click that link, answer the questions that it has for you, and that locator will find an installer in your area that etrailer has partnered with to do the install for you. Well again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.

So far so good, finish is still like new even though we have had a tough winter. I still am a little timid to kick the icebergs in case the finish comes off.

Glad they are helping him get in and out of his truck! I almost took my steps off my Silverado as I'm 6'5" and don't really need them, but got the death glare from my mom when I mentioned it (she's 5'5", but also half Russian so she can stare down a bear). I decided it was safer for me to keep them on. : P What kind of truck did they get put on? I think these are a very underrated step and they tend to get overlooked a lot.

Still very satisfied with product. Still using the prototype wooden treads. Havent bothered to make more permanent plastic ones. So far, I havent hit anything with these step hoops yet. I get lots of comments on how helpful they are, & how sturdy they feel in use. Thanks.
